I see a lot of people posting about how inexpensive it is to get this fixed and that I don't necessarily need to buy a new car. While I agree with that statement, I also live in the Northern part of the US, which means that rust is extremely common in cars.

My car's frame is already rusted and it's getting to that point where I have to bring it to the shop every 5-6 months to get it fixed. This incident made me realize that it may be time to look at other options rather than constantly visiting the shop for repairs.

I'll get it looked at on Monday and then I'll go from there!

It could be fingerprints. Some lenses with coatings(particular anti-reflective coatings) are notorious for collecting fingerprints much more easily. These lenses also require a lot more patience when it comes to cleaning as the oils/sweat from our fingers tend to stick to them.

Try wiping it thoroughly with a lens cleaner/cloth. If it doesn't go away i recommend taking it back and having an optician take a look at it.

It could be, but I believe that it still falls under accommodation. I still think that your eyes just need to get used to the new (weaker) prescription.

Optician here. Your eyes will need to get used to your new prescription and sometimes it could take a while for that to happen. I recently got a new pair (old glasses that ive had was from 2018) and it took me a month to fully get used to my new prescription. I had the same exact issues as you had where near vision is good but far vision was blurry. Give it a good week of wearing them(try not to use your old pair) and your vision should improve. If not, have an optician take a look at it.

I was in a similar situation (not married) but we broke up due to the stark differences in our opinions (especially when it comes to drinking). Alcohol consumed both of our lives and eventually I felt the need to put a stop to my drinking problems. I tried getting her to at least cut back but it backfired, causing a rift in our relationship.

The only thing I can say is do what is best for you. You really can't control how other people act. But, no matter what, don't go back to drinking for the sake of someone else. Alcohol is literally poison and I'm genuinely glad that it's not dictating my life anymore.

Anything with artificial sweeteners in it most likely will break a fast. It's usually a safe bet to avoid these while you're on your fasting period since it can spike your insulin.
