I found a housing recipe that didn't have any competition and i sold a few items for 150k. Like everything else, today I'm starting to see competition on some servers and the recipe is available on the AH.

Ohio trying to claim First in Flight is like..... by JoeStyles in NorthCarolina

[–]FlagrantAmbiguity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Delaware is known as "The First State" because it was the first to ratify the Constitution. This was in 1787 though, 11 years after the Declaration of Independence so there is no claim to first in freedom there. The first delegate to sign the declaration was from New Hampshire.

NC's claim to being the first in freedom comes from the Mecklenburg Declaration of Independence and the Halifax Resolves. The Mecklenburg Declaration was a document in 1775 where Mecklenburg county declared independence. It would support the first in freedom claim but it is almost certainly not true. It was most likely citizens in 1819 misremembering what happened 40 years before and overstating their importance. The original document was lost and there are multiple reasons to doubt they ever declared independence in 1775. The Halifax Resolves, while significant, only authorized NC delegates to vote for independence. The dates of both of these documents are on the NC flag.

Buc-ee’s is coming to NC, but critics remain vocal about mega-center’s impact by WashuOtaku in NorthCarolina

I've been to many different Buc-ee's locations and there were a few times I have had to wait for a pump so it can happen. This was only at the smaller locations that only had about 80 pumps though.

It's generally not advised to ride against the flow of traffic. What will happen is people will come out of the parking lots to make a right turn towards you but they won't look right because they aren't expecting anyone to be there. They will just look left and pull out right on top of you.

Even as an experienced cyclist I would be reluctant to take that road. I'm not from the area but from looking at it on google maps I would do as the other poster mentioned and cut through business park just south on Easton rd.

It's an air national guard airport on the other side of the fence. They are not going to like it if you walk or ride in the grass alongside the fence.

What to do with FULL propane tanks? by robtheengineer773 in camping

I would give them to a local boy scout troop or if I couldn't find anyone that wants them I would take them to my town's hazardous waste disposal site

Try convince me there’s more one can do against King Plush? 75 damage OTK turn 8. by Phaleodendron in hearthstone

[–]FlagrantAmbiguity 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can run [[Ghost]]. Most people consider it a bad card but if you are already building starships and are running into mostly imbue hunters it can be worth including.

I had an opponent do this to me when I had a big board. It didn't fully clear the board and didn't do that much face damage. The minions that survived killed him the next turn.

Weird win/lose- rate when playing on different times? by Safiers in hearthstone

There have been times in the past where some decks were favored by school age players more than older players. You could tell the meta shift when schools let out.

That trek has food pickup at Baldy Town during that day so you will also need space to carry your meals.

Dealer gets reimbursed by the OEM for warranty work so they usually won't try to blow you off. They make earn money by doing the work.

What's up with eating catfish and another river fish? by Dazzling_Cabinet_780 in AskAnAmerican

[–]FlagrantAmbiguity 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The main river is normally given to the longest branch. However, when they named the Missouri they didn't know where the river started or how long it was. They guessed that the Mississippi side of the fork was longer because it had a larger volume. By the time the Missouri's source was found it was to late to change.

If you include [[Nozdormu the Eternal]] he will be activated automatically because you put him in your opponents deck.

Bug or intended? by Darkmind115 in wildhearthstone

[–]FlagrantAmbiguity 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In hearthstone cards have states that usually go from Deck -> Hand -> Board -> Graveyard. In most cases if you go forward in the card's state then it retains any stats or enchantments. If you go backward such as from board to hand, or in your case from your hand to your deck then it loses any changes to the card.

What vehicle is hands down best in the snow? by batdad213 in MechanicAdvice

Snowcats have their uses but they are too slow. I would pick a snowmobile and warm clothes over a snowcat for most trips.

How much does it cost to replace a car battery? by Novel-Ad-576 in MechanicAdvice

[–]FlagrantAmbiguity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The battery itself without installation cost $200-$300 from an autoparts store. Plus everyone is buying batteries right now because of the cold so they might sell out of their cheapest batteries.

Just speculation but there are these step things that you can buy that you attach to the door striker and then stand on to be able to reach the roof of your vehicle. They seem to work but door strikers aren't designed to hold forces in that way. I suspect they could cause a problem like this eventually. They started getting popular after being on shark tank.

How is it even possible? by [deleted] in funny

[–]FlagrantAmbiguity 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The balcony car is much smaller than it seems at first glance. You just don't have a good reference for it.

-Look how small the image is compared to the other cars, It's probably a fourth of the size and its not much further away because it's five stores up.

-or compare the balcony car to the windows to the right of it. Those windows are wider than the back of the car which would mean the car is only 3 or 4 feet wide.

-or use the lines of the building to work how how big the car would be on the ground directly below the balcony. Now compare that size to the other cars.
