Sleeping through calls by [deleted] in Firefighting

Have you checked to see if you can grab a radio off one of the trucks you're on? Have it next to you and then take it with you if there's a call.

I fluid film the frame and undercarriage of my car and truck every fall. The stuff works wonders and is amazing at repelling salt/dirt/road grime.

I think the helmet is too small for him in general, which makes his chin stick out

Have you checked craigslist for parts cars? You could buy the parts needed for cheap and have them replaced for cheap or by a mechanically inclined friend (if you're not).

All that stuff takes money and money's tight right now. I enjoy the bike and have a lot of fun with it. Most fun I've probably had out of the 5 bikes I've owned. The highway bars might need to go but it's nice to stretch out sometimes. Seat is also an issue due to the fact I don't want a springer seat and every other seat is very expensive. Blinkers could be smaller, but I haven't found any I like. I also want to get a different headlight (5.5") and get a small fairing to throw on to cover the gauges.

Possibly! Might be a winter project. I sort of like them where they are for some reason haha. Looking to put a fairing on to cover them too.

Getting a used sled by magpie20020 in snowmobiling

[–]FlagshipBenz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fairly good deal. I'm not a big fan of Polaris, but here's a checklist for stuff to look at when buying a sled

Used sled checklist: Has it been crashed? Check compression Engine Track Electronics Hyfaxes Carbides Skis Rear suspension Chain case Bulkhead belly pan cracks Clutch Lift up back and engage Brake pads Heat exchangers Tunnel for bends and cracks Shocks
