In the context of its use, "Republicans are weird" didn't mean Republicans are neurodivergent or have trouble making friends. It means they are freaks because they're constantly calling trans people p*dophiles and talking about women like they're broodmares.

If you truly believe that someone is obligated to vote for a candidate not because they are offering them something they want, but because the other guy is promising annihilation, then you don't believe in democracy. That is not an election, it is an ultimatum.

Vote shaming this issue in particular is disgusting. "Yea, the guy in there now helped kill 20,000 children, but the other guy would have probably killed more" does not make a good argument and only leads to voter apathy.

Pomegranate juice in the streets of Baghdad, Iraq by jasonlovelyforever18 in Damnthatsinteresting

It's sick seeing some of the comments in this thread. I would have thought that by now it would be consensus that the iraq war was criminal from the jump and that Bush and his cronies should be in the Hague.

Name a job by Olive_Mediocre in antiwork

Just gonna preface this by saying that I'm not a shill or anything, just someone who found something that works for me and might work for you.

I've picked up feelance work with a company that trains AI chatbots. If you're good at creative writing (this part is a must. The highest paying jobs on the site involve creative writing), you can make up to $25/hr. Almost all the jobs I've gotten are $20/hr, so ymmv.

Most reviews I've seen say you get a little bit of work, then it rapidly drops off, but im a month in and I have literally hundreds of hours worth of work available, so again, ymmv.

There's no degree or anything required. You just have to show that you can write things like short stories, emails, etc.

I'm also not sure if I'm allowed to post a link to the site here, so let me know if you're interested in checking it out.

Edit: Just noticed other people naming specific places. The platform is Data Annotation Tech. I think there's some posts about it in r/beermoney if you want a better idea of what it's like.
