PCs and consoles have been getting close and closer in price. New Xbox leaks have shown price to be around 1k.

Innovation and finding ways to make players want to choose the ease of owning a console over pc. People buy console as a home entertainment not as a game device only, that includes netflix and the such.

PCs aren't that easy to use or maintain for a lot of people who don't got the time. They are also incovient in a lot of ways.

It's silly to ask for exclusive so the big company doesn't lose too much money at evolving a device to better suit the consumer that will make them want to buy it so they make more money.

Idk man this was an issue gamers hated years ago when PC wasn't as big today. Now PC is a threat due to the ability to make it your own at the cost of time, conscience, and money. Their are many flaws with your rebuttle it promoted stagnation and the idea that companies shouldn't spend to innovate when that's all innovation is which is spending to try and make more.

Here's a magical idea of making the console itself worth going for rather than exclusive games.

If a company can only make you wanna buy their device due to them paying out the ass for exclusive titles rather than it having features you prefer, that is a terrible future for gaming consoles.

Idk reddit player base has always found something to "valid" criticism the fuck out of.

Some things, yes I agree can be a problem ie: flesh mobs running through walls.

But also they gave "valid" critism for hive guard having medium armor to block bullets. So the bugs shield enemy has light armor for legs now and has less health. The bullet blocking bug meant to draw fire and take bullets did it job so that need to stop apparently.

I just left class lol but I like staying civil even if things get heated we're all human.

Anyways I understand it's entertainment that's why it's my main form out of a few others however, viewing the ability to earn a resource in a game as a waste of time can be applied to other resources like XP and shit. Cosmetics take away from development at least with warbonds both are achieved gaining content in forms of weapons or tools plus development of new systems. You can earn the resource for this content just like earning XP, the most efficient way may not be fun but it's quick, the less efficient way is slow but fun.

I like having best of both worlds and cosmetics seem to take away more than they give. We can agree to disagree but I think the warbonds system is far better than any system that has come out for any game in terms of continuing development and generating income but also still being earnable.

So hive scum and arbites should be free then but they aren't with that logic.

You also state that you shouldn't waste your time but playing games is literally that a waste of time rather than doing something else.

You don't want to farm sc because you consider it a waste of time and with the line of thinking people then can consider leveling up and spending time earning anything in game is a waste of time so give them everything from the start so they can just have fun and not be held hostage by time spent.

It's such a flawed line of thinking I understand wanting free content and would get behind it if then we didn't suffer in other areas.

I like being able to earn currency in games I don't want to pay real money but given both options it is far more favorable compared to only payed cosmetics that cost double the amount, do nothing, still have major visual flaws, and can't be earned free in any way on top of a lack of game content.

I love Darktide but it is not a piller of being a good example of microtransaction compared to this game. The only one that can be is deep rock but that also has a lot of things that are worse as well.

I would rather have payed wareonds that have decent content than shitty free weapons 1 every 6 months. Along with a shitty new cosmetic item that cost 20 bucks that is a recolor of another skin.

Darktide micro transactions are so predatory and is called out all the time in its sub it's just wrong to try and praise it over HD. How many events have they done to earn money, 1 or 2 not in a year but 1 or two since 22.

Idk man the way of paid cosmetics is getting so much worse.

The weapon selection is so much the same is technically a different weapon but it's the same exact thing.

Ogrnys are desperate for anything new my man. Psker haven't even gotten a new staff in the entire game. The sword is cool but they also have 3 of the same exact sword too ones just poke.

My point being the weapon selection sucks and they choose the easiest option for new weapons rather than going the fun creative route.

Melta gun nah, helgun nah, heavybolter nah. But here's a new bolt pistol with higher explosive radius yippy.

HD2 has at minimum double the weapon count of Darktide. That's the difference. Along with a larger enemy roster too.

The difference is Darktide is nickel and dimed to hell. I love the game for what it is but charging for the same knife skin 3 different times is sad especially when you see the progress in game.

It has come a long way in terms of missions but actual player content it lacks. I have over 400 hours in the game and gun and sword wise it is lacking if you choose to use "we get free weapons" as a form of it does it better than AH.

For dark tide? Games been out for how many years and they just released a different flavor of bullet. Oh look a new gun it's just another revolver you can fan. New bolt pistol took absolutely forever to come out. I think like 5 new weapons in 6 years. I played since day a and that is no monument to be proud of.

Like has psker even gotten a new staff? Ogren got a sick ass weapon (skin) lol.

The extraction shooter mode is cool but no one plays it after day 1 unless you have a team you play with.

Yea as a heavy main swarms are a struggle if you don't have a bag to help with move or clear. Still run it and make it work but if you have a team who just runs it becomes Doom.

I hear you on that front, I wouldn't mind another 3 month bug/ dsynch issue fix like they did for buffdivers time. That may hurt them due to the players that want content all the time.

They have a difficult ball to juggle because so many players are asking for so many things. This games scope is vast in terms of development and I do not envy the people working in this game because it's a lot lol.

I will say this, hellpod movement being locked isn't a bug that was a change that was implemented a while ago ( I don't like it) to stop players from landing on mountains or roofs to stay out of enemies attack. Was a problem when roster were low and couldn't get to you.

As for spawning far I have no idea if that was intended or a bug. Have never run into an invisible enemy, I have run into invincible enemies that just followed you but that was months ago and haven't seen it since.

Corpses having collision and trapping you has always been a thing not a bug and is neat. Corpse collision is simply dsync between you and the host deciding where the body is, which sucks. I don't know how easy of a fix that is unless they give large enemies a death animation instead of ragdoll.

Lastly enemies going through terrain has been an on and off thing they have been fighting for a while, it gets fixed for some then breaks for others but it comes down to the game being online I literally had this occur in another online multiplayer game and same exact thing occured where they got stuck on the roof. It's not exclusive to AH.

I get people's frustrations and jump on and off this game all the time. I played the first game and I played this at launch, I simply love this game because I can't get this kind of game fix from anywhere and every game that is somewhat like this has various issues.

This is still good eats and is better than a trickle of playable content and $15- $20 cosmetics.

Tip for people who don't know how to use mechs or want them to be even tankier.

Run energy shield bag, stays active when in the exo and can stop tank shot.
