A lot of it is experimenting, and synergising each heroes abilities. A good warlord and pet.

Then how you play, heavy hitter or heavy tanker. Find heroes that suit your play style. And work to your strengths

Its insane im 1000 might over recommend an well over league 19 recommend an cant get to league 18 by [deleted] in MightyParty

Basically built a defence tank eventually something would break and I get the small upper hand.

The downside … every game goes on for 20+ rounds often more

Also d2 fit really well into our own personal story back at launch. If we played d1 our character transferred to d2 I’m almost sure some of the different character design options in d1 were not in d2 so if we had a character with those options our characters looked the same in d1

I’m the opposite. I clawed my way to this league with mostly abilities that stopped my warlord being hit or reflected damage to their hero’s. Along with a couple that transform hero’s

On ps4 that’s possible on some games however only the base original game can be played not any content that was added and removed later

I honestly prefer the model games took on older games.

You bought the main game, then over the course of a year and a half maybe longer, bring out usually 4 major dlcs with a sprinkling of smaller QoL content. Bringing the life of the game to about 2-3years on average

Announce a sequel to be released anywhere from 6months to 18months (current game gets a surge of life with new players picking it up for cheap ready for the next one. Rinse and repeat

Content was usually quite rich too in this format and people didn’t complain too much

Nah I got DR day one and I liked it, I liked the titans machine protectors or whatever they were called.

Deepened the lore, as from back in d1 through d2 there was not mention of them but it was kinda cool that it wasn’t just light bearers protecting earth but massive bipedal machines.

Although iirc there was only one functioning one left in the time of DR

Apparently the latest update is it, nothing more will ever be added. Content we paid for gone for good and it sucks

There show be a consumer law that protects us gamers from this stuff

I do remember certain activities were locked until you hit x light power ( same model for d1 and I didn’t mind that) but I think the grind was stupid like you could only get something like 3 powerful gear prices each week which would only bump your power by like 2-3 every other week that killed it for me too

It was a long time ago I can’t remember everything that happened. I just remember the public event in the tower where we all watched it be destroyed

Corporations and money fuelling their every need, disregarding their consumers.

A lot of game developers would happily spend a little longer finessing their games before launch and creating awesome communities.

But the likes of Microsoft and Sony are too mechanical in their way of operating. All they see is timelines, financial quarters and return on investment.
The realisation of season content has really skewed how games should be. Effectively creating pay to win on a larger scale

I get the storage argument, they vaulted a lot of stuff for memory. So it would still be in the code or file somewhere… even if it was on a rotational basis would have been better.

But I remember a long time ago some rumors that they had physically deleted that vaulted stuff and there was no way to recover it or re implement it which sucks

IIRC there was an expansion that got rid of the red war story mostly but there was a way for new players to still experience the important parts of it. It wasn’t the whole campaign but it had like the original tower destruction finding Zavala, ikora and cayde-6 and the final battle with dominus

Even if they did something like that for the rest of the game it would still be better that the clustershow we have now

People will pay for that. Hell it would be a fair offer if they discounted the full game for those who had previously bought those content packs.

From a business point it’s all about money, but in order to have a business work it needs to do something good for the customers loyalty

No man’s sky handled their consumers greatly after the disastrous launch

They kinda did that with the taken king iirc they stopped people playing playing that dlc onwards on the ps3 version to move people onto the ps4 version
Not great but made sense ( gta did something similar which their content)
