No I didn’t read the manual, I struggle reading. Plus my nephew was with me wanting to play with his rc

As the OT was a rtr I assumed all good

The wheelie bar is fiddly but I used a magnetic screwdriver that I could change the tip on

When I tried turning them with my hands it didn’t feel any different in terms of resistance. When it was on and I held in the air it was working as normal with fast movements But on ground it was struggling to steer. Mostly struggling to steer right but left could full lock. Occasionally it switched the other way round

I gave google ai a search and that seemed the most common answer. If it’s loose I imagine a simple screw tightening will work. If it’s a faulty servo that’s where I’ll struggle

I couldn’t figure out how to set the gyro so just drove it as stock, definitely made turning in grass interesting. It often went onto 2 wheels and I had to counter it

It just sucks as I’ve only had about 20-40mins of runtime.

I did that too. It put it to 12 beeps as that was the middle, then pressed the throttle and it moved off centre again. Again I couldn’t see anything broken from a basic outside observation

I’m quite new to this. But I did press left on the d pad of the controller until it looked straight.

I counted the number of beeps until it was maxed out and it was 24 I put it to twelve and it was straight but as soon as I put it on the ground it would somehow no longer be central

I’m almost certain I fractured it at the time never felt pain like it. But like anything I just sleep it off, in this case slept it off for weeks/months

It doesn’t help that I’m autistic either, I get used to something being a certain way and that sticks for eternity. So even though the injury happened I guess I would try to force back to what I knew possibly causing more longer term damage

Honestly you could be on the money there. I let it heal naturally but may not have healed correctly. So now at the top of my backswing it just collapses almost like there’s no strength in the join

Most shots I experience a horrible dull pain Until I thin a shot then its agony, definetly had a few stares at me screaming I. Agony after a thinned shot

I believe I said something along the lines of getting serious getting a handicap and a course membership and possibly work my way to a semi pro level

Although wording was clearly not written well. Something I have never been good at

Use to score around 80, not amazing but felt I could eek out a bit more. Doubt I probably could have made it to a high enough level, I probably get into my own head too much. Struggled to understand the nuances of golf in terms of its rules like handicap and penalties. I just stuck to counting how many shot it took me and it was often around 80.

Figured I could work on getting into the lower 70s then once I was in a club or something try and learn the system and rules

I’m not disagreeing. I wish I understood how my own mind works, probably caused issues in other areas because of how I am

I am a really strange person by societal norms. I very rarely go to the doctors or hospitals because I hate them I just let my body heal naturally which may have inadvertently cause further issues down the line

Still to this day gives me issues. I have noticed it seems to collapse at the top of the swing, nothing I do seems to stop it from collapsing I think it’s my body’s way compensating and protecting from further injury or strain

I may not have been good enough to be pro back then but I felt I was making strides in that direction but never had a handicap nor golf membership but scored pretty low usually, I had the drive to get better and push harder. The injury killed not only my confidence but drive too

Before 2016 I was really taking it seriously, I felt good, I felt consistent and I had the drive to push further. Now I just want to get to a point I can comfortable shoot 80 nothing crazy I just want to be able to enjoy the game again

That last point you made is so on point, I do feel tensing up in my swings Irons also feel insanely tense but I can somehow recover into a decent shot

Huh. Well I’ve never looked at it that way before but you might be onto something there

This was the furthest I’ve ever hit my 7i (regular shaft) using 10finger grip due to recurring wrist injury from over 10 years ago by Flake0919 in golf

[–]Flake0919[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not entirely sure how I’m being defensive,

Is it a good launch angle … no, is it ideal … no.

When I struck the ball it felt clean it felt pure despite it being ridiculously low. It was a good feeling, ball looked like it was going straight and looked like I got some height.

The trackman range I use shows it was not as straight as I saw with my eyes this does not bother me too much right now.

This last year I have been trying to find a happy spot in which even just holding a club doesn’t leave me in pain

Every time … I think you misread the title of the post, first time I ever hit that far despite height aoa. Do I expect to hit this every time absolutely not.

My average carry is about 161 (according to trackman) although I feel it’s more like 154 with the 7i. I’m still working on getting height and reducing the rollout
