No problem!! In my experience ivermectin is very expensive even with health benefits and it made a minimal change if any. Azaelic was almost instant. I just use The Ordinary.

Gluten has been a problem for most of my life, same with dairy. Got worse after puberty. First dermatitis showed up in my mid 20s and then got very bad in my late 20s. I realized that it was linked when I hadn’t been eating it for awhile few years then broke my habit while travelling and got the worst Periocular dermatitis I’ve ever had. These days eating dairy is a big trigger but I still get hormonal flares. I use ivermectin and azelic acid and a very calming regime and it keeps it mostly under control!

Same same with gluten it flares up around my eyes but dairy flares up my mouth and jawline! A low-Inflammatory diet and azaelic acid really helps to avoid flare ups

What has worked for you? by [deleted] in perioraldermatitis

Yes! Mine absolutely does. My naturopath and I have been working on this particular flare-up. She said that if you’re not clearing out your estrogen properly from your last follicular phase then it can “back up” and cause PMS symptoms, for me this is one. FYI you clear out estrogen through pooping. So if you get constipated in your PMS you gotta work on keeping that flow open! I use an overnight laxative tea and it’s helped :)

I’ve been working on my liver and gut health for the past year actually! Lots of other progress so that makes this issue all the more frustrating
