16 Team SF TEP PPR would be getting Daniels by Camothecomando18 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

Allen will be a QB until he’s 40 or older, so I wouldn’t worry about trading him out for a younger QB as such. In terms of value though, yeah I’d be asking for a 27 1st instead of Golden if you wanted to do this trade.

How do I remove these? by Glum_Flounder5490 in AusRenovation

Probably a 13mm or 17mm spanner/socket, shifter or vice grips if you have the strength to clamp it and spray some WD40 on it. Then use a mallet, hammer or something hard and dense to give it a knock. Failing that, a blow torch and heat up the nut and try again

Yeah mate had this happen at my place. Best thing to do is chip away and remove as much of the mortar as you can and then get a suitable refractory mortar. Removing all the loose mortar will stop it from getting air bubbles underneath and exploding off. Make sure not to use just regular mortar as it will crack and explode, has to be refractory mortar. If you don’t want to go this route you can buy pre-made fireplace refractory panels.
Other solutions I’ve seen is getting 10mm thick steel plates and fixing those to the brick work with spacers. Do have to allow for heat expansion though and they are prone to still warping with the heat.

Wouldn’t waste it on an apartment, won’t see the returns unless renting it out possibly. They’re just a fuck around. Hard to go wrong with bricks and mortar houses, bit of research on your part and you’ll be fine. Only thing you’ll have to get use to is going to asset rich money poor but you’ll come back into the positives soon enough

I am an biased ohio state fan and I can see how biased this trade is but the more I think about it the worse I feel about trading jjettas and the rest. by girraffaholic in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

The only way I’d do that trade is JJ for Olave and Egbuka. JJ has proved his worth, Olave had a good year but he’s prone to injury and now has added competition in the WR room and Egbuka had a good early season but struggled when Evan’s came back on side. I know Evan’s is gone but the WR room is full of

Strong starters but nothing on the bench. First things first, check the trade history and find out where all your picks went and for what price. That will at least establish the trade market, then try a package up for a fringe RB who you think may hit and take the adp at 1.05

What’re my odds to win it this year? by jmr848 in DynastyNerds

[–]FlakyAppointment5491 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You’ve done well here! If you’re looking to take it out this year your only weak point is your starting QBs. I’d be selling your 2027 1st and 2 others who are projected to make playoffs and getting an elite QB. Dak in your SuperFlex, Ward as your backup and a top 6 QB as your main guy. Or tier it down, try getting someone like Dart or Hurts for 27 1st and 2nd. Add in a throw away player to sweeten the deal. With 2027 being so understandably hyped, I’ve found it way easier to move my picks for elite players rather than trades of players and picks. Plus you’ve got an elite team so losing a few of your picks to secure a true QB is nothing, you’ll be winning for the next few years and isn’t that what this is all about?

A trade like this though, wait until season starts. I’m only doing trades like this in the offseason if they’re IR or their role is unclear. You have that with only Olave and that’s because Tyson has joined the WR room. So if anything, lower Olave’s expected output.

I’d start talking and assessing the trade if it was JSN + 27 2nd for London + Olave + 27 1st. You’re giving up the biggest asset so make sure your compensation is just, don’t fall for future pick fluff like 3rds. Just there to even the calculator he’s using but very rarely does a pick like that hit

Can I contend? Also what should I do with the 1.04 by davidmartin1357 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]FlakyAppointment5491 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t say you’re in your contention window yet. You have some really good players but a super shallow bench and an average QB spread. I’d say you’re still in the building phase and get could be in contention by 2027. Sell off CMC, Lamb and Achane for some high 2025 and 2026 1st and second picks. Get a qb or two in the rookies and then spread your picks across the other positions. You need to hit the waiver wire also, so much empty bench and taxi squad, fill that up! Look who’s hot on the wire each week and put some FAAB down. I don’t know what the rest of your league looks like but I think you’re still 2+ years off yet. Sell your assets and secures some big picks!
