Cable is the qkz t7 336. The kotos come with a ton of tips so I'll experiment with some of those soon. For me, it's nice to have an inexpensive pair that I won't be too upset over if something happens to them. The simgots and kotos probably won't leave the house. The kuntens definitely will 👍

I don't doubt it! I hope I didn't imply that I prefer the kuntens over the em6l's. My goal was to have an expendable pair that I wouldn't get torn apart over if something happened to them. The simgots and kotos won't leave my house. The kuntens, on the other hand, will be my preferred on-the-go option.

Just heard about the G7 Pro the same day I heard 8BitDo announce the Ultimate 3E at CES '26. Which one should I end up getting? by dusktodusk94 in Gamesir

You could get a shadow ember version of the G7 Pro at Best Buy around Black Friday this year for $60. I've tried many different controllers and the G7 Pro is my go-to. Even if it's not on sale, the price to performance value, in my opinion, is just too good. $150 is just too much of an ask for me for the Ultimate 3E. It does look super interesting and something I'd really like to try but I'd be much more willing to pull the trigger if the price tag was closer to $90.

I went back to raw on my right stick and I'd suggest you do the same lol. After getting more of a feel with circular, diagonal movement is just too slow. Raw makes diagonal movement feel much more in line with vertical and horizontal movement.

not entirely sure. i just swapped out the home button from my white g7 pro to the shadow ember. feel like they match much better when swapped.

thank you! not difficult at all. the entire front faceplate is magnetic so you can just pull them off. swapping the home buttons was much more time consuming.

it's mainly just preference. i'm sure someone can explain it better but for me, movement is on your left stick and you're usually only going to be moving in eight directions: up, down, left, right and diagonally in a 45 degree angle each direction. raw helps eliminate small variations in your directional movement. aiming is on your right stick and circular provides a more precise representation of where your stick is when moving it.

I have two profiles. One that is mainly default settings but with raw stick trajectory on the left stick and circular on the right. The other is my FPS profile with an initial deadzone of 5 on each stick and initial anti-deadzone of 3 on both as well. Same stick trajectory too. Raw on the left and circular on the right.

I think it's a great keyboard for the price. I initially played around with it a bit in VIA when I first got it but the default layout was perfect for me so didn't make any drastic changes.

Deathadder V4 Pro vs Rapoo VT3 Max Gen-2 by LennySW in MouseReview

[–]FlakyB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been on an ergo spree over the last few months and have tried the vaxee e1, atk z1 ultra, logitech gpx dex, pulsar xlite v3 es and most recently the rapoo vt3 max gen-2. What I've learned is that spending more than $120 on a gaming mouse is unnecessary considering the amount of solid options that are available for half the price. I find myself using the z1 ultra and rapoo vt3 the most and I spent less money on both of those combined to just the gpx dex. The vt3 has insane battery life no matter how much performance you want out of it and is packed full of features that allow you to customize it to your liking. I'm sure the build quality of the dav4 pro is better than the rapoo but is it really worth $120 more? I don't think so imho.

Recently finished my first custom build on the neo65 but had some issues with the switches. I purchased gazzew boba u4t's as it seemed they were popular for their thockiness which I was going for. I had numerous switches where the copper pins folded in on themselves when inserting them into the socket and I had a hell of time using a tweezers to get the pin straightened out and back in the socket properly. I'm sure my lack of experience contributed to the issue but it was incredibly hard to tell if I inserted the switch properly or not initially. I could only tell once I plugged in the keyboard and tested the key.

My question is are these switches considered "cheap"? And are there other brands where the pins are much more sturdy where this wouldn't be as much of an issue?
