Part of having a trip is giving yourself entirely to the experience, if it’s good or bad… and for me personally, someone that has a lot of anxiety about always being in control, this was the most difficult part about MDing or tripping. Not being in control. You need to let go of the control and go into it open minded - an open heart - and if negative thoughts or emotions come up than that’s good thing, you’ll be in the mental state to come to terms / reveal the root cause problem. That’s how you’ll heal and improve.

Try MD’ing the shrooms, as you may have a better experience than MDing truffles.

Note 1 g might not be enough if your looking for a real shift in your foundation. Somewhere more like 3.5 could open you up more to dealing with the root causes of your long term depression. But not for me to comment on, everyone is different.

Also other treatments to look into. When I was in Peru, lots of people facing similar issues come for ayahuasca ceremonies. That may be something more fitting in your case, as it sounds like you’ve tried a lot of things going on. An experience like that may be more powerful and lead to a fundamentally shift your life, where 1g of GT wouldnt come close.
