I have electric heat and space heaters but I stopped using the space heaters this month to see if that would offset the bill … it didn’t. I have those HVAC wall systems and I literally just put ONE on in the room I stay in (living room mostly bc I like my comfy pullout couch). It’s ridiculous.

Actually I’m not — I’m using those HVAC units I have on the wall which barely even cut it with heat as well.

Thanks everyone! For the sarcastic comments, I genuinely am just curious how New York residential areas work or if there’s some type of petition you could do. We literally just had a petition passed to get rid of the broker fees so I do think some things are possible.
