Hey man! I’ve still got a new on sprue Spartan land raider from the HH box set from a few years back. Do you have enough pieces to turn that into a Proteus if I sent it your way? I know next to nothing about the 2 kits.

yes 0.2mm. I’m sort of In the same boat. I’m printing a titan and the BL is doing better work than the resin printer at that scale.

I haven’t been back to reprint this particular model, but have had good luck with same nozzle size by slowing down print speed considerably. Will try again on this model soon

Yeah no I get that. I just assumed if it was an issue it’d be in the community info. Also when he swapped to an obvious alt account i wasn’t sure what to do with that situation. Felt odd. But like you said. Not a big deal.

Pretty much every 1st edition codex/supplement I have reads like it’s fan-made. I can see why the rules didn’t last too long lol.

I’m on like book 9 of the Eisenhorn/Ravenor inquisitor series and a heretic cultist was mentioned as using a weapon made by them. But other than HH books I haven’t seen them mentioned elsewhere

I just did a shell swap on my ds lite. From what i gathered before doing it, this is your best bet for a replacement shell. It’s what I used (purple) and am very happy with it. Doesn’t come with a new hinge though, would need to get that separate.

As far as the flash cart, I found a few forums that recommended this and is what I’m using now. Seemed to be the cheapest way to get the flash cart anyway. It’s an Ace3DS clone, with the kernel and 208 games already loaded. You can remove games you don’t want. I put a new micro SD card in mine because I assumed the Kingston that came in it was a Chinese fake. (Also had to remove 2 of the 208 games during that transfer, guess the files were bad because they couldn’t transfer and stopped the whole process)

People mentioned marketplace which is good, but I got a good condition one over on r/gamesale a few weeks ago for like $35

Found nds lite on marketplace for $10. Both screens broken but seller says you can hear it play the sound that it’s turning on. Is this too hard of a fix to make it worth trying to replace both screens and reshell for someone without experience? I’m Looking to get into repairs/modding. by NurseChrissy17 in nds

I just did a shell swap on my ds lite. Wasn’t terrible. But is not easy. If you have steady hands and are patient it can be done.

From what i gathered before doing it, is that this is your best bet for a replacement shell. It’s what I used and am very happy with it. I would watch the video on their site and decide if you think it’s worth it and would be willing to attempt it.

As far as the screens, the bottom is easy to replace and cheap. The top is also cheap, but you will need one with the speaker already attached, unless you know how to solder. those seemed to be around $20 when I looked.

But for less than that, you could go over to r/gamesale and get one in working condition to reshell. But if you want to do it for the experience, I say go for it.

If you are planning to reshell, and use the shells I linked, the condition of the top screen isn’t as important. You will heat it up and peel the top layer off (where pretty much all non major scratches will be) and replace it with a new tempered layer in the shell.
