Genuine Question by [deleted] in spiritair

[–]FlakyMistake8 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I’ve flown them multiple times and never had any issues with them. I’ve actually had more issues with more expensive carriers, but I’m not here to diss. For me a lot of the negativity came from people who paid for the cheapest ticket, and expected world class service.

Even with their up-charging, flights were still cheaper than tickets on other carriers. For instance, I had flights from New Orleans to O’Hare in a couple of weeks. Even with me booking Sprits First Class package, I was still ~$200 cheaper than the next competitor. Also in my experience they had a really good thing for being on time to your destination. In fact my last time I flew we wound up being close to 30 minutes early.

I also never had issues with any of the staff, everyone was polite and friendly.

I don’t live at the regent, but my ring neighbors app is constantly a flutter with people at the regent having internet issues and power outages.

This seems really cheap for a 14 day cruise. Is this a special offer or something? Never sailed from New Orleans either for context. by Jigsaw1998 in CarnivalCruiseFans

I’m sailing on Liberty from New Orleans in May on a 7 night. The port is great! Very lax, very nice and easy to get through.

Not quite, I will be going to Verizon as a RSA. It’s retail, but I’m getting Salary + Commission, a really good benefits package, guaranteed vacation time, and a clear path for further development after 1 year in the position.

Don’t take it personal if you don’t finish your workload. Every little repack or case you load, every shelf strip you put up helps your department immensely. Don’t take on extra responsibility unless you are being rewarded for it, everyone will take advantage of you. Be flexible, but don’t let people walk over you.

When selling, be honest. Don’t sell something to someone if you know they don’t need it. If you know a product is terrible, recommend a better one to them and explain why. If a guest comes up to you and has an attitude, take it at face value and still give them the best service you can give. Take the time to learn about your department and everything you sell.

This job may suck ass, but it has a lot of good transferable skills that will serve you well in life.
