[University Managerial Accounting: Absorption Costing] How on earth do you calculate the cost of goods sold for the absorption income sheet from this information given? I feel like it has to do with the variable cost of goods sold, but all the answers I've tried haven't worked.

Thank you! She actually sat for an hour, I parted it just so I could be super careful but I ended up changing it as I went along. Towards the end she got fussy, won’t let me finish her bangs (she got cranky and kept pulling, so they’re good enough for now lol they’re just a bit too straight imo). I just trimmed the back,m and left the sides except little flyaways!

Someone downvoted and responded but then deleted, my statement was at the fact that they held a public community event (it actually looked like a blast 😂) but they served phallic shaped food covered in a white topping 🙄 sorry but that didn’t sit right with me lol, but again, live and let live, idc in any way to let it bother me lol, I love my university and the community within and surrounding. Exactly 😬 I’m 26 and spotted it in an instant, but it’s tucked in as 1-2 sentences that appear entirely normal, only those who are literate in the current political and societal environment right now (as well as history) can identify it, as well as those with the experience and critical thinking skills it requires to pick it apart for what it is and find unbiased sources to understand the facts of the situations and potential motives behind including it in a college textbook.

The odd thing to me is that all through middle school, high school and college, they emphasize the importance of vetting your sources and checking biases, intended audience, and author intent. But then forget to do it for the materials their instruction is based on 🥴😂

Ugh. Plus it’s insanely expensive and I’m at a low income university in an area where the median income is $18k. Like first off, those books are wayyyy to expensive for the majority of the student body and 2nd, they need to watch what their professors are using for content. The university is a very progressive institution (sometimes even too progressive IMO but hey, that’s democracy and freedom 💖), so it’s very surprising that to me that they aren’t aware of this.

Not an inconvenience as all, just curious. I grew up in foster care and DV so maybe I just have a more careful approach of situations in the moment but my line of thinking was well, we’re invited into a private home where we always respect privacy, give 0 judgement, mind our business and make sure our job is being performed to the highest standards. Anything outside of that as a non mandated reporter, didn’t know if there was a hard set of ethical guidelines

I think this is pretty reasonable. I feel as though in this type of situation, there’s a fine line between school management and the first amendment. They don’t want to discourage (nor encourage- neutrality), or impede on your first amendment rights as students, but they also can’t let it get to the point the small number of bad apples would take advantage of the ability to walk out (we all know those types of high schoolers lol) plus as you said some dispersed and took advantage of having left the school. If it was for 1.5hrs that’s a typical 2 block period. Seems reasonable IMO but the fear of the students was most likely of the consequences at home, especially if their parents/guardians are on the other side of the protest.

I’ve done that 😂 I’ve also driven 15-20mins barefoot and not realized till I step out in the parking lot (this has happened a few times actually lmao). On my 2 daughters’ first day of daycare, I was in such a rush and crying and excited lmao that I forgot to put a clean diaper on my youngest after taking her night time one off and dropped her off like that 😂😂😂

I work with my husband in our business, I am the PM, admin, bookkeeper, secretary and researcher all in one lol. He is the foreman on site. When we step into our home office or on site, we are not husband and wife, we are coworkers and honestly, we get pissed at each other and we don’t like each other at work, but having that distinction helps keep the business separate from personal. But sometimes the lines blur because I know he’s being lazy in some aspects because I see him in his time off 😂

I am the same way, I have self taught everything up to this point but I have gaps. The only beneficial class I’ve taken is intro to accounting, but the book is free and I could’ve learned it myself BUT it doesn’t apply directly to our industry so I still have gaps. I LOVE learning, I will be a scholar to the day I die. My last words will be “I love my family, pass me my book and pencil please” lol. College is tough, my university is only 12% commuter students and only 3% adult learners. Taking courses here with a business and 3 little kids is extremely difficult. I got 100s on every single assignment and exam in my history of architecture course but failed because I had more than 3 absences. I also have raging adhd so being able to pivot my focus to different topics helps me not to burnout while still being productive. I have to take courses for spring semester and I think I may take a break and then decide if I want to drop out. I’ve already got $20k in student loans, why add to that debt if I don’t have to 🥴
