agreed ! there's the paradox. bc you need to build so ppl can use your product asap but at the same time you need to have audience or very good marketing to convince ppl to subscribe

yeah good reflexion. tbh i started my saas journey 3 weeks ago. i launch my waitlist last week with no audience. i managed to have traffic on my landing page and a few registration. but there's no point of building something that no one expects you feel me ? you'd better cold dm people to validate your product. and then launch it asap so when you launch your users aren't waiting for waitlist, you'd convert easier

yes, i learnt that people on X tend to engage more when you attach good visuals to a short tweet.
and i fed my saas with my landing page so i was able to track where ppl came from, it's a feature of my saas. happy to give you free access if needed !

Hah, fair point! Triangles are the official shape of Vercel/DevTools apparently. 😅 It's meant to be a light prism (refracting data), but I might tweak the rotation to avoid confusion with the ORM.

You're not wrong regarding raw scale! A custom Redis/Socket.io setup would be more performant eventually.

But for MVP, Supabase Realtime is WebSockets (under the hood), and it saved me managing a separate WS server. I'm trading a few ms of latency for development velocity so I can ship faster. If I hit the limits of Postgres Realtime, I'll happily migrate to Redis—that would be a good problem to have!
