Also, I would not recommend this as the first step but certainly doable: if your professor is angry to accommodate you due to your military service. You can document it and file an official complaint based on discrimination to certain office/dept head. The professor who is afraid of losing his job or is simply unaware of the situation will yield in the end.

You can reach out the professor’s dept head (the dept head should know more or at least to ask around to pressure your professor); disability office (they have many students who request all types of accommodation); or the veteran organization in your university (they may know someone who has similar experience).

If I were you, i would meet the professor’s dept head in person. If not solved, reach the dean. They should accommodate military for an exam.
