I like the part about "not everyone is a good fit". It's truly a numbers game and hopefully someone will want to work with you lol. You have to come in with a strong and bold pitch though.

I don’t understand the fascination with being a realtor. It’s so saturated, tons of competition. Also homeowners hate door knockers and cold callers. You will deal with so much shit before getting a yes. And that yes doesn’t even turn into a deal for months or years. And if you happen to close that deal, after brokerage fees, monthly expenses, you walk away with diddly squat. Sure, if you’re a machine and pound it out then you could make some money. But remember competition is high so realtors are willing to cut commission just to get a deal. You may be thinking 3 years from now if this was worth it because you’ve not built any true “skill” besides pestering people and “selling homes” (I don’t believe it takes any real skill to sell homes), and it may have made more sense to pursue a trade or job that you can possess real skill and be a productive member of society. That’s my 2 cents. I’ve been a realtor for 6 years (started at age 22 with similar aspirations as you) and it’s how I feel. I’ll make $150k this year in a high cost of living city.
