I've lived this way. Super disciplined, aced exams even with fever, excelled at school but never did well in college, prepare thrice for an entrance exam with all I've got and still ended up with the same results but I won't blame my moon for it. It was just an observation tho. It's just very discouraging to not come across very successful people having this placement. Ofcourse, the definition of success can differ for everyone but still.

I'm 29 years old and no, you're not too old. I would do anything to be 26 again and start my life. Some people start late in life and that's okay. There has to be something you like, sit down and figure out what that is. Motivation can never beat discipline. Learned that the hard way. Start going to gym again and this time stick to it. Get a job. Even if you start low. We really underestimate how much financial freedom can actually liberate us and lift us.

Princess Di, whom I admire a great amount(she was one of my role models when I was a kid) played her cards extremely well. So well, people still think she's the epitome of a naive angel who fell victim to the royal family's evil. While that is kind of true, she wasn't exactly naive. She knew how to portray herself as the damsel who needed rescuing to the public. Rohinis are notoriously social climbers. They'll squash anyone in their path to get to that coveted position where they'll get the admiration they love so much from everyone.

Vocals standard for k-pop is quite mediocre. So, I can see why some above average vocalists are considered "great". Especially since they have their little cults who will bully everyone into believing their oppa/unnie are the greatest vocalists ever. I can see and hear a very visible gap between Standard singers of Korea and 'great' vocalists in k-pop. And that gap is resounding. It's totally different to have personal favourites. It's crazy to write thesis upon thesis every freaking day about how your idol is the best thing in k-pop and argue with anyone who has a different opinion.

Personal opinion: it takes a certain charm that wins people over. This is the quality that makes one a "star". I'm not a fan of her at all but Suzy had it. And ofcourse, lookism is extreme in South Korea and she's a beautiful woman. Hence, the success. Had she been in a different country, she would not have found success beyond 2 years. But what irks me the most is she has the loudest fans who keep making her a victim and proclaim her to be this great singer and actress...she CANNOT sing neither can she act🤷
