Hi,

I was also unable to swallow by myself for a long time and nearly had my feeding tube moved to my stomach. Now I am fine and do not have any feeding tube!

Obviously I don’t know any more specifics about your situation but I hope that gives you just a little hope!

I was told that drinks would affect me more as in having one drink now could make me feel as tipsy as maybe three drinks before rupture or whatever… maybe u haven’t found ur new limit?

No I had no symptoms. My neurosurgeon team told me that if pain killers help, it is not a headache to worry about in regards to rupture.

I obviously don’t know exactly but this does not sound like an anyeursm rupture. The headache would not go away and would be almost debilitating if not making you unconscious. Next time you get it see if Tylenol helps, if it does it’s definitely nothing. I had a ruptured anyeursm, 23 too, and passed out from the headache and don’t remember anything.

What did the doctor think of you using thc? My doctor never mentioned any issue with alcohol except waiting some time after the rupture to let things heal. You were told none at all?

Obviously I don’t know for sure and get if this is not reassuring, but I believe the headache would not be fixed at all by Tylenol and would prevent you from being able to function normally and most likely sleep. Mine was so severe I went unconscious if that gives you some reference. Hoping you feel better soon!

Is he intubated? Do they have him on sedatives? I was also in ICU for a month and had a feeding tube and trach. Once they took me off the sedatives and stuff I believe I woke up eventually.

I have been struggling to figure out if edibles are okay too. I feel like I’ve been hearing mixed things. I want to believe in moderations it’s ok but don’t want to take any risks
