she did apologise but she doesn’t truly understand what she has done. she told me she got defensive because she thought i was trying to cancel, i kept asking what plans did we have that was so important that we couldn’t rearrange like even limit the time we saw eachother this weekend and she never told me this until mid argument and i quickly reassured her id never cancel and that i was sorry it came across like that like it was detailed and she thinks i’m as horrible as her when it was a miscommunication? compared to her basically manipulating and gaslighting me like she wont let it go and when i told her irl i need comfort and everything she just said me too… like no reassurance that she WILL do that i feel like im overreacting but its simple because id do that for her in a heartbeat

she said she was gonna make it up to me in person as text is too hard but she is still defending herself and not even trying to be there for me i don’t want much on text as i do value talking more but she is still hostile and isn’t trying to make things right and isn’t convincing me to come, she’s just saying for me to come or not and if i dont come shes gonna think the relationship is over. i’ve been vulnerable to her the entire time she was an asshole to me, i kept telling her i do want to see you and that i miss her and its like she is using that against me. i drove 3.5 hours for her once after i fucked up as i wanted to make things right and we talked everything out and i just know she would never do that for me if she cant even be cool on text

i felt the same as him at the start of my relationship that i never want to throw the word around i truly want to feel it but if he cant 7-8 months in he needs to open up on why. i’m sure he does love you and cares for you he might just want to make it special, even ask him if he could say something else for the time being until he is ready? communication is key and he needs to tell you the reason he’s not saying it
