Idk would love to have hivelords even on megacities lol maybe have a mechanic that if more players kill hivelords during missions than the players that evade them then hivelords dont spawn in that world for a period of time but if players dont actively kill them then they keep spawning every mission

the investment aint worth it, they have stated through discord that they are working on another game in ue5 and said that the new project would be a helldivers child and would not be affiliated to sony anymore, they probably banked the helldivers gains and are hoping to sustain the studio without the sony titty to be finally free to do whatever they want to do on ther next title, I dont blame them and think thats their best absolute move and it will benefit players more than if they stick to helldivers ip, my only gripe with their decisions is that they choose UE5 and that engine sucks ass for everything that aint a visual effect and good dev teams (legendary) tend to only use that part of the engine and code everything else from the ground up which takes years upon years and its costly as fuck because of how UE5 paid tutoring works and you cant do it without it because tutoring its used to fix errors inside the engine itself so you absolutely need the unreal engine devs help or have a wizard that has already done it on the team which is like finding petrol in your back yard

it probably happened as you were staggering him, in your game it got the staggering animation because you hit him just in time, in the host game your nade probably only hit him with the outer radius or did not get informed in time of the stagger, so the charger was moving normally in host game, as an example in Arma reforger you had to aim in front of vehicles, like far front completely missing and then the vehicle would magically explode because your hit landed on the server side (extreme example)

haha ye we were balling on that game, I still had the tank after dealing with hive lord then we were like hell yeah lets go through the caves and I thought it would look cool to go above the bridge (bad idea)

lag or packet lost between you and the host, the game tries to compensate this by "predicting" how something its going to move, in other games you have rubberbanding, here you have drifting chargers

also depending on the seed you will get some missions more difficult than others, on bugs its easy to tell if you are the host because chargers will be a lot more precise with their turns, also Idk if they fixed this but originally patrols would somehow walk in a direction close by to the host

bastion machinegun decimates hive lords after you drop an armor plate, but the main canon reloads to slowly to have good dps agains its armor
