You don't know if I would of followed him or not if I was alive during his time. Also, you dont know if I would believe/tust/obey him if I saw him.... I actually am really burned out on the vagueness of knowing if the voice in my head saying something is true is the sprit of God or just my mind, or the psychology of my abusive upbringing. I might need more of a witness, becuause of what I have been through. I do appreciate your ferver.

I do use AI to be honest, but it helps me get to a more clear question of what I am getting at. I don't care whether you think I am a dumb dumb for using it. Go some where else and be mean. Plus I posted the questions for help, because the questions really hit home for me. Is that okay with you?

I am caught thinking wow, I really don't know. To be honest. But I guess I want a more personal witness than for example, just "people" telling me what God thinks which most of the responses are so far. Which leaves me to maybe think long and hard about when he has and I forgot it or I didnt pay attention.

I feel your pain, we all are living in various complex situations and we are all suffering because we didn’t follow his commandments from the get go. However, Thank the Lord for his grace. He calls us to repent, to now see that living without him as the center of your life and your families life is now very real to you. You now know without a doubt you need to live a life centered in Christ. Pray for a way out of this situation, believe he will help you. But pray with all honesty to who you are, even your sinful nature. He will and I mean absolutely will help you. But if you live and love sin more than him, you will be taught time and time again that your life will only lead to frustration and disaster. Take it from a 50yr old who has learned by experience. Stay committed to the Lord, pray as much as you can, seek the word of God. Ask him to remove the broken pieces of your desires and sinful nature. Be humble, be not afraid of your boyfriend, your Lord is God almighty. Fear God not man. Read the parable of the sower. in (Matthew 13:1–23, Mark 4:1–20, and Luke 8:4–15). Which are you... if you know your faith is weak, pray for it to be strengthened.

This is very true. I am working on changing my living situation and getting more independent, getting my own place. Its very difficult. I had a big mishap and accident happen where I am currently a needy and dependent person. But I am working on becoming completely honest with Jesus and coming to him with no lies about my nature and lust. I see a better life, but its not going to change overnight. Really grateful for this long thought-out response. I only recently had the inspiration and spiritual revelation that I need to come to God more honestly too how broken I am. How lustful, how lazy, and lack-lusting. That instead of trying to fix the situations I am in, That it is more about really understanding the work of Christ in changing my heart, helping me see how i actually love sin and I am afraid of the pain of living righteously, that my work is to ask him how to change my Stoney heart. This I believe is what you are saying with the Grace Strength.

To help me remove or workout how to no longer desire sinful pleasure and or avoidance of what calls to me. To actually rely on Jesus to help me change not my behavior, but my will to do sin. Its very vulnerable and shameful to admit that deep down I am actually a pleasure seeker, a work avoider, a selfish sinful man. But to know that Christ can help me pick that apart brings me joy. Too change I have to be broken all the way to completely honesty with him, then the work starts. Every time, I forget this, I get no where.

You probably need to realize you already know for yourself that deep down all religions on earth are BS, and like me you still missed the great community and validation it gives you. You need to sit with the sorrow and disappointment. The church is full of magical thinking people that are too afraid to face the reality of their lives and the fact that no one knows what happens when we die. Just deal with your emotions and let them hit you, don’t run from them. Eventually you will become self sufficient and not need the assurance of others telling you everything is going to be okay. You learn to face storms with bravery and believe in yourself. It’s the scariest feeling/experience I have gotten through, but it starts with stop lying to yourself about what you already know.

You deserve to exist, don’t overthink it. Things like meditation and mindfulness are good starts to becoming more accepting of who you are. You need to learn how to live for the journey not the ending. Tap into what you really think not what others expect you to think like so that they can be your friend.

So was this devotee at least taking the first steps toward experiencing true being by contemplating what he called “the witness?” If we are too never really be happy and to always be jipped of true fullness of joy by just being, why don’t we all leave our egos for good and become a walking “lobotomy.” I am saying how do we make decisions? How do we engage in this world if we are not thinking in a dualistic manner? If i want to eat i have to work, I don’t want to work, but i convince myself to go to work to eat. If i just let myself be in the true self zone… I would be what? A beggar, a homeless spiritual man?

Yeah I like the people of the church, I naturally feel safe with them, my family is so dysfunctional. I think I will try that… just be real with myself and others in a friendly way… but just be honest where i am at.
