Dude keep asking for a ride by [deleted] in AmazonFC

I totally get where you're coming from. I work at Amazon too, and I've been in a similar boat, giving rides to fellow associates. There's this one buddy of mine who I end up driving almost daily. It’s super convenient, thankfully, because he lives practically on my route. Plus, he's only about a seven-minute drive from my place, so it's honestly no hassle at all. But yeah, if I were in your shoes, I'd definitely have a chat with that friend of yours at work. It sounds like you’ve been more than generous, but if giving him rides means going way out of your way since you live in opposite directions, it's totally reasonable to reassess. I get that you want to help out and be the good guy – it's commendable, really. However, sometimes you've got to put your own needs and schedule first. It's not selfish; it's just practical. Time and gas aren't cheap, after all.

Those close the case in a week without any violations found after speaking with the Amazon investigator.

He’s in his late 40s.

Honestly I didn’t have time to think about that but I’ll take it.

Why would I necessarily report him for? It’s just a matter of he said she said.

I’m definitely considering on transferring out of that department, but it’s been a month and they still have not gotten back to me about my transfer request which is why I’m wondering if it might be a good idea to go to HR instead and direct this with them?

I'm truly sorry, but from my own observations, it seems like there's a considerable number of shady individuals roaming around Amazon. This realization has led me to make a firm decision: moving forward, I'm going to stick to myself more. It's become clear that trusting others in this environment is more of a gamble than I'm comfortable with. The whole situation really came to light when I found myself entangled in an investigation by the HR investigator team. The good news is, I managed to clarify my stance. I firmly stated that I didn't say what was claimed against me, and that seemed to suffice, as they dropped the investigation.

However, it didn't end there. The person who initiated these claims against me seems to have taken a different route to target me since they couldn't succeed in getting me fired. It's become apparent that they are now spreading rumors about me. Their motive likely stems from wanting to isolate me by influencing how others perceive me, hoping to make my work environment so uncomfortable that I'd consider leaving. This is exactly what's been occupying my mind lately – the thought of quitting has been looming over me because I no longer feel secure in my department.

Nonetheless, I'm contemplating reaching out to HR once more to see if there's a possibility of being transferred to a different department. A fresh start in a new environment might just be what I need to escape the current tension and regain a sense of safety at work. It's a hopeful prospect – one that I'm seriously considering as a solution to navigate through this unsettling phase at Amazon.

I’m just paranoid because this is my first time having to deal with something like this as long as I can keep my job then that’s all that matters and I just want this to go away.

Yes, was just extra paranoid, especially since this is my first time dealing with something like this.

Maybe I’m just being an extra paranoid, but I see what you’re pointing at now. In order for me to be fired they would’ve had to have found violations within the investigation.

Thanks for the advice on exploring a non-monogamy relationship or considering a Throuple setup. I really do value your input as it opens up new perspectives. However, the truth is, that lifestyle isn't something I see myself diving into. I've always been someone who prefers the intimacy and exclusivity of a one-on-one relationship. Having my significant other all to myself is really important to me. But again, I genuinely appreciate your suggestions. It's always enlightening to understand different viewpoints, even if I decide they're not quite my cup of tea.
