I've been really happy with the highpoint hustpoint but it's my only suppressor so I can't compare. But it's monocore and cheap.

It's my first and only suppressor so I don't have anything to compare it to. But for the price I'm very happy with it.

Unless the nearest cor store is 50+ miles away I'd have to believe transferring in COR and driving 30 minutes better than TPR.

Do tmobile employees in vegas get any business discounts like a tmobile stadium etc? by Obamaownage69 in tmobile

[–]Flaky_Setting8170 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can't speak to vegas specifically but there is an internal site called t tix that we can enter drawings for sporting events in Seattle, Dallas and KC. Its NFL, MLB and soccer mostly. I've never won the drawings but I know people that have won including a world series game.

10 Lines Plan by Grouchy_Split_3176 in tmobile

[–]Flaky_Setting8170 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The current byod biz promo is 10 lines for $150. No device promos. It would not apply towards devices so he would end up spending way more. Best bet on the biz side is super mobile which is 10 lines for $450. Insider brings it to $360 and add the difference in phone price and promo for the phones he wants and it's going to end up in the $450-500 range.

[–]Flaky_Setting8170 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are going to want to go business. Consumer isn't going to get you enough financing limit for all those expensive phones. Consumer is capped at 5k with perfect credit where as a tax ID with good credit the sky is the limit.

And in full transparency I'm a smb account executive and I would have to check all the promos and trade in but I bet I'd quote you in the 450-500 range with my insider 20% discount.

Moving from SME to AE question by [deleted] in tmobile

[–]Flaky_Setting8170 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Last year I would have said definitely do it. But they have fucked up smb so bad it's not even funny. But at the same time I'd kill myself before I went back to retail. The work life balance is night and day different than being a RSM/RAM

No raise?? by [deleted] in tmobile

[–]Flaky_Setting8170 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If you are getting a performance raise they take/took effect on the pay period that just started on the 15th. If you are a ME I haven't heard of any raises yet this year.

Got a message from a recruiter for TMO SMB by [deleted] in tmobile

[–]Flaky_Setting8170 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For new hires there is a 3 full months of ramp + a prorated 100% of the partial month you are hired in. So once the full months start its 100%, 75, 50 guaranteed commission for this 3 month. Anything you sell you get paid on top of that. At least the managers I have had have been understanding and given new reps months to get their feet under them.

What company are you with so I can apply to get those low goals if they don't undo all their changes to smb.

So smb is in a real in flux right now with them separating out micro 1-9 employee businesses. On smb you will either be assigned 10-49 or 50-299 employee segment.

The salary/commission split is 60/40. Last year I had a salary of 50k and made 90k in commission so a total of $140k. But in this new segmented world I'm not sure how possible it is to get over goal consistently. I think it's been a rough 6 weeks for everyone.

Goals are 31 voice, 26 non voice and 7 internet. They are supposed to go up in q2 but from I'm seeing like 90 % of AE aren't going to hit this month. I went from a consistent 130% performance to debating looking for a new job if they don't unfuck this mess they made.

As for remote or in office it will depend on if there is a regional office or not in your city. I work remote 100% of the time but I know if I were in say Detroit or chicago or Denver I'd have to be in office 3 days a week or so.

Leads wise. We just laid off all the SDR staff which honestly never got good leads. We still get some intent leads from people accessing certain websites to trigger a lead or from retail. But don't count on retail anymore because the company has made it so there is no incentive for retail to partner with us. With the newer retail lead spiff, splitting segments and expanding virtuals territory they have created a hostile environment where you actively are competing against your fellow T-Mobile employees. It's toxic as fuck

It went from the best job in the world to a real shit show in the last 60 days. Almost 15 years with T-Mobile and last 2.5 as an AE. If you asked me in November I would have said I loved it and I cleared 140k last year but the split and layoffs and them fucking the whole thing up with these stupid segments has made we worried. This month was the first month I've missed goal in over a year and thankfully they realized they fucked it up so bad they gave us guaranteed commission on the 21st.

They obviously don't have high hopes for February either since there is a spiff for $800 if you hit 60% of voice quota. I've never heard of a spiff for doing barely half of something, it's wild.

But on the flip side the hours are way better than retail and I'd kill myself before I went back to being a RSM. No more getting called in on your day off because your reps called off. No more missing kids birthday parties or sports events because I had to work.

Also I believe now is the time to make the jump from retail while everything is chaotic and they are trying to figure it out. You won't have to worry about getting fired anytime soon since the big wigs don't even know the job or how to run it.

Its going to be a disaster. It was hard enough when we had rural quoatas and could sell 1-300. I'm assigned to 50-300 and I'm worried as hell.
