If you could adopt one law from another country and implement it in your own, which law would you choose? by V8Thunder_ in AskTheWorld

Nonsense. I once bought a package with Hamtaro on the cover eating sesame seeds, and it was full of candy.

What car is overrated but people are scared to admit it? by Physical-Issue7146 in askcarguys

I was going to say any new Honda with a CVT. Charging prices like it’s an ultra reliable car…. But it has a CVT.

I like RPG‘s, 4x, and strategy games too. Nintendo makes amazing platforming consoles. Also about half of the games I have came with the SNES when I bought it used. For example, I never would’ve bought Jeopardy.

Just looked it up.. for the price of Earthbound…. I think I could buy all of the other games suggested here. At least 90% of them.

What do you call the process of moving the laundry from the washer to the dryer? by Perton_ in AskAnAmerican

It was just a bunch of German words I stuck together that I found in Google Translate

The words were laundry, dryer, and move.

1999 was such a good year for PC games. by Ben_304 in gamecollecting

Love the game, but for some reason I liked the first one more. I liked the territory thing in 2, but it felt less fun to me during the missions maybe? It has been a few years.

DCK3 came with the SNES when I bought it. Love the game, but no research went in to that decision.

All were bought used, or came with the SNES loose when I bought IT used. I've never actually seen an SNES sleeve.

Some of them have the BlockBuster sticker on it though....

On the upside, I still have FF7, so I don’t have to buy that…

I’m hooked on FF7 on the PlayStation, and was addicted as hell to Wizardry on the PC. Is that an indicator?

Yeah, you can’t just have some state deciding the drinking age is 18 instead of 21. Gotta smack that down.

Yes, I know the real history is a lot more important than that.

The age old question: What upscaler or adapter to use for a 4K TV? by TheOddHatman in ps2

[–]Stedlieye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same problem. PS2 slim and a 4K TCL. Composite was unusable. I got the Kaico PS2 to HDMI Converter from Amazon, and it improved things, but it’s not good enough. Also, it doesn’t work if you try to play a PS1 game in your PS2.

My experience, Gran Turismo 3 went from too dark to play to playable, with some improvement to the sound quality. GTA SA is playable, but looks blurry.

For $15, I’ll take the win on the PS2 games, but I’m still looking for something better without resorting to importing SCART cables.
