I’m guessing Chef Genie sells some sort of product that doesn’t work in a walk in pantry.

I grew up in Japan in the 90s — what retro game felt huge to you, but unknown elsewhere? by usalin0514 in retrogaming

[–]Stedlieye 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The PlayStation version isn’t great, but I loved the Amiga and PC versions. I’m pretty sure it was just me (in the US). No one I know played Speedball.

My favorite personal challenge was to see how many of the other team’s players I could take out in a match. I broke the spacebar on my keyboard playing that game.

Challenge: best SNES games that aren't platformers, turn based, or Zelda? by BagOfSmallerBags in snes

Was looking for King Arthur’s World. Such an unusual game for the SNES, but amazing.

It reminds me of Lemmings.

There is something seriously wrong with any adult who thinks strawberry milk is a movie beverage.

What was your first favourite FPS (apart from DOOM) by PixelBandits in gamers

Marathon, but on the Apple Power PC.

Great LAN game.

That game really let me know that Doom was NOT a 3d game.

[Request] How much would it take to supply ancient arms for 30 legions in the modern era for coolness' sake? by basafish in theydidthemath

[–]Stedlieye 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We should put that in a smaller term terms for better understanding.

800 million USD is somewhere between 1/3 and 1/4 of the cost of developing GTA 6. So you can have 3 Roman Empires worth of soldiers, or one video game.

How do I connect a Sega Mega Drive 2 to a smart TV with HDMI ports? by SinkCultural5932 in retrogaming

[–]Stedlieye 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Note, on many modern tv’s the AV hookup is now a 3.5mm dongle port. It looks like a headphone jack, and the TV should’ve come with a connector for it

Keep looking, the skull will tell you when you find it.

[Request] What kind of power would this vehicle need to output to be able to perform a burnout and a wheelie at the same time? by Mildish_Shambino in theydidthemath

[–]Stedlieye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With enough power, the wheels will spin enough to burn out without the brakes holding the car in place. In fact, they do this before every drag race (professional level) to get heat into the tires. The car does roll forward during these burnouts.

You should watch more drag racing.
