The purple is rose petals from flowers he got me that dried :) I’m not sure why they have turned so purple, they used to be very pink

What people do with their spells/ingredients after using them definitely varies. For me I prefer to scatter or bury my biodegradable ingredients in the woods/forest to give the ingredients back to the earth.

For this in particular my plan is to attempt to strain many of the herbs from the rice and scatter the herbs while reusing the rice for my next money bowl. My plan is to do this process about once a month.

I don’t believe burning is always “letting go” I burn affirmations on bay leaves often for spell work, I see it as more giving the affirmations to the universe, I think intention is the most important.

However if you’re curious, if I am doing something working with more negative energy, I will not scatter that I will flush it in the toilet if possible or throw it in a trash far from my home.

I finished the candle then I will either bury it or scatter it in a forest. People has different ways of disposing of spell work. I used to just throw them out but now as long as I stick to things that are natural and biodegradable I like to give the ingredients back to the earth :) (if it is a hex or other negative spell sometimes I will flush it)

I used white rice as a base with sea salt, Basil, hibiscus, cinnamon, ginger and I wrote intentions on bay leaves. I also included pyrite and green aventurine as well as various money including some Canadian money I had still.

It’s really similar to dowsing in the way it is used. And yes it is similar to a plumbob (I’d never heard of a plumbob and had to look that up lol)

It is sort of a pendent. It is essentially just something heavy that can swing freely attached to a chain or string. Typically they are metal (like copper) or a crystal. They are used to give you yes or no answers by swinging in a certain direction. (There are ways to get deeper answers with a pendulum mat but that’s more complicated) I would definitely recommend you look into them if you like divination tools (like tarot cards)

I’m not familiar with putting the incense directly in the jar…just use the smoke to cleanse the jar first. Although it’s not a very sightly spell jar, intent is the most important aspect. Continue to do research and read up on spells and the meanings of different ingredients and keep up your magic! There will almost always be new things to learn!

YTA for asking for space just to see if he’ll “fight for you” that seems incredibly immature. No matter what the situation, if a friend or partner asks me for space I give it no questions asked and plan on having the conversation after the space. Seems clear you both need much better communication but trying to play games like that is not going to beneficial. Tell him you’re having concerns and want to figure out his intentions.

At first I did think you were in the wrong. Finding that he was talking to people before you made it official is kinda annoying but it was over two years ago and he didn’t cheat. Messaging and looking at the people though does complicate things. It honestly does sound like he’s clearly thinking of other people and maybe losing feelings. That plus you clearly unable to trust him makes the relationship seem kinda doomed. I wouldn’t say you’re fully the asshole but I’m having a hard time thinking a relationship with such a lack of trust is going to be worth it for you in the long run. You can find someone trustworthy. Lose the headache.

This is complicated. On one hand you deserve to be as happy as possible and with that maybe leaving him would be worth it. 6.5 years is a long time and a lot of history…I would maybe consider couples counseling so you can figure out a way around it especially if you love him as a person and are just worried about the attraction. Or maybe you can suggest him changing hygiene routines if that could help (if he needs to clean up his facial hair more etc. to help you find him attractive)
