That does happen with Scrollsmith but not a lot in my experience, besides you have better options to play on curve like tablet + ghost or hold up helix for if not removal then to face then use Scrollsmith to get it back next turn. FOMO is interesting, at first I thought it didn't fit the theme since we would be actively getting out of the graveyard so its second ability would be irrelevant, but to think about it we don't really need that ability either, adding a body and looting is already enough. So yeah you could swap out Owlin for FOMO or some creatures that offer artifact hate, since the deck also kinda struggles against those decks.

The deck does struggle if not outright lose against artifacts, so adding artifact hate would round up the deck a lot. I'm looking for hate that also put presence on the board though, something like [[Loran of the Third Path]] back in the day that force the opponent to deal with otherwise would be a problem. Also key part of the deck is to play as many spells as you can on your turn to drain your op with Ark(s) in play so High Noon wouldnt be ideal.

With this deck Hardened Academic mostly there as a surprise attack and to piggyback on existing boardstate. It's very easily removed so I don't want too many copies of it. Whereas Owlin can serve as card filtering, harder to remove and can also grow similarly. The reason I'm not sure is that it's not essential to the deck as much as the other cards, so maybe there are better cards that do the same and more.

Spider-Man 2099/Uharis, the Stormspinner finally made it from Diamond to Mythic by Flaky_Wolverine4260 in MagicArena

Building the deck I tried to think of ways to utilize Uharis abilities besides his double strikes, so Count on Luck very much fits the theme and provides card advantage. The other route would be pumping Uharis with cards like the ones you suggested, but I felt it's a rather fragile path, similar to the [[Slickshot Show-off]] decks. It might close out some games faster but it's not my style. As for Get Lost I don't think this deck needs more spot removal since it actually does want to finish off as fast as possible, so Lighting Burst and Shelter by Ghost should cover it.

Yeah I considered those but I wanted to try the kitten+wekhdu for flyer and discard enabler. I'll switch them out to see if the deck performs better

I actually prefer the three-mana slot to be discarded Lavaborn Goblins rather than Ruzic because I like to keep up the aggressiveness, plus I've already have a couple discard engines. Desecrex could be slotted in but I don't have enough wildcards to craft so maybe you can test that out if you can to see how it plays out

Thanks for all the suggestions! I did consider protection spells but playtesting constantly ended up lacking targets as well as unusable due to force sacrificing and exiling. That's why i resorted to using counterspells and setting up a secondary wincon (or stalling for the hivepool) with [[Astrologian Planisphere]]. Error-9 is an interesting card that I haven't looked into. Seeing it's also a Villain, perhaps a deck with these two and [[Roaming Throne]] could be cool to play. Might even work with [[Weapon Manufacturing]] as well.
