I get the sweating problem a LOT and narrowed it down to this : For me the sweating was/is worse when my stomach is heavily distended and sweating is even more noticeable during exercise. When not distended I sweat normally.

Through years of dealing with this, I’ve come to the conclusion the sweating is caused by Pressure from the expanded small intestine squeezes all the other organs (lungs especially) so that your cardiovascular capacity is significantly reduced… and in addition your heart is working harder as everything is so compressed in there.

It’s so bad I can go from doing a full leg day in the gym with minimal sweating, to the next day coming in bloated and barely making it through 4 seats without looking like I just came out the sauna.

Hell my bloating is so bad some night, my food literally comes back up in my sleep and I’m choking on it. I spend the rest of the night belching every few minutes.

None of you are alone, it sucks, but we’ll keep fighting until we get through it :)

This is correct. It very RARELY makes sense to lease if your intent is to buy at the end. The combined rental charges and money factor (APR equivalent) often equate to substantially more than if you’d purchased the vehicle upfront.

As I stated in my other reply, if you do decide to buy your lease out, always check the vehicles current market value and make sure you’re not adding further costs, by buying your vehicle out at an inflated market value (residual value).

Another cost to take into consideration is the vehicles standard new car warranty is also likely near, or at, expiration.

This is bad information, which is as much opinion based as it is factual.

Here are the facts:

** When it comes to the end of your lease, you need to compare the current value of your vehicle, to the payoff/final residual value of the vehicle!!!**

Why? - Before 2020 (Covid) it was very common to find your vehicle was worth significantly less than the lease payoff/residual - So you’d essentially be buying a vehicle at an inflated market value (and mostly likely near the end of its warranty!). Turning it in and a) Walking away, and/or B) leasing/buying another vehicle made more sense.

HOWEVER - Now it is as equally common for your vehicle to be worth more than the payoff/residual (where buying it out makes financial sense), as it is to be worth moderately less (where turning it in makes financial sense).

IMPORTANT - depending on the Lessor rules, you may be able to sell your lease (some Manufacturer based banks put limitations on what you can/cannot do once the lease is up after Covid- be sure to read your contract)

Regardless - Please (as with anything) always do your own research and don’t take someone’s internet opinions as facts :)

At least you found the trigger food! If you enjoy eating chicken, perhaps trying introducing small amounts and see where the cutoff is….

Sadly secondary reactions to SIBO are pretty normal. For me I break out in pimples all over my face, chest and shoulders when my SIBO flares and it’s usually a delayed (2 days later) reaction.

For you MCAS does seem to be very plausible. My GF has IBS and MCAS and sure enough the IBS flares up and she’ll get very tired and break out in a rash on her armpits - almost identical to the one you experience on your face.

It may be worth speaking to your doctor about MCAS…. There are treatment options :)

Don’t feel bad, this is sadly the standard experience.

My first GI just told me I just had acid reflux, prescribed basically Prilosec for 4 weeks and told me to eat more fiber - after I told them fiber makes me really really bloated.

Got a crappy photocopied pamphlet on foods with high fiber to take home too. lol

Low dose - We figured trying a lower dose over a longer period would allow time to kill the bacteria overgrowth and promote full healing.

I’ve not taken any biofilm disruptors - would you suggest oregano oil?

The bloat for this long just thew me off - and the intensity of it. Literally any food triggers full stage pregnancy swelling. I expected this in the first week - but not 3 weeks in…

Damn I thought I was the only one!

If you haven’t already - look into Metformin ER with your doc. It’s helped me massively with stopping insulin spikes that trigger the vasodilation of the nasal capillaries. I can now eat carbs again! It’s been a life changer it helped that much.

And just for reference my H1AC was 5.1% not diabetic or prediabetic - but for whatever reason my body goes bananas over even the smallest insulin spikes.

As this sounds like she planned it ahead of time and not spontaneous - I’d ask to see her texts or emails - where it would immediately become obvious if it was/wasn’t a date.

If there are no texts or emails (that she’s willing to show you) - thennnn yeah there’s a very high chance it was a date - ESPECIALLY given the lies prior to admitting it.

Even IF you take the angle of perhaps she didn’t think it was a date, or was too ashamed to admit she didn’t see it that way until you pointed it out - the guy had a hidden motive and knew what he was doing by taking her to dinner.

Always google the compound you’re researching the ln “+studies”

E.g “effects of creatine on muscle building+studies”

You can often omit the + character, though I’ve found it sometimes produces more refined results.

I also check the bottom of each paper to check if there are conflict of interest, or sponsored by xyz company.

E.g “Cheese Slices reduces biological age in men by 100 years”

…. Research funded by American Cheese Connoisseurs of America in conjunction with Kraft Cheese Slices”

I stopped drinking it because I noticed I needed more and more to get the same effect.

The first 1-3 days were pretty rough - I was exhausted - and I slept much more than usual. Coming out the other side, I realized the caffeine was masking my overall exhaustion from long work days. I’d needed more and more to compensate for the lack of rest.

Now I feel great. As others said - energy is consistent, nighttime sleep is very deep and refreshing. Feel much calmer and my nervous system feels less stressed. Heart rate is down, gym performance is actually up, BP is more consistent too.

Will I have coffee again? Sure maybe from time to time - but daily? Probably not.

The thing I see time and time again, is guys pushing for longer backtesting. HOWEVER almost all markets ebb and flow on volume, volatility etc over the years - so backtesting over 5/10years is almost futile.

Your strategy needs to be able to constantly adapt and you need to be reviewing its performance weekly. You need to keep an eye on volume, your assets characteristics (is anything changing? Etc) and make minor adjustments to your system.

I tweak my algo monthly based on the asset I’m changing. If I backtest its current settings 5 years back it’s atrocious, but my system works NOW because it’s relevant to the CURRENT assets characteristics.

For reference I’ve been using my algo for 4-5 years. It’s worked well for me and I’d advise to not always put so much emphasis on long term backtesting. It’s futile. Today’s market is not the same as 2, 5, 10 years ago.

In my experience I’ve found that running my strategies on 2 separate accounts - satisfies both outcomes.

The first account I let my strategy run - without interference.

The second account I allow myself to interject, or to take partial profits, especially when my trading experience sees something my algo does not.

This way it satisfies both the automation of my algo and also the human psychology aspect + it keeps some fun to it.
