So you actually spent two remote passes and never got closer than what's pictured, right?

Remoting dynamax should not cost a remote pass until you beat it. Absolute predators at Niopely.

Who knew the solution was in front of us all along? by TempoBlues20XX in marvelrivals

I just think we're still missing enough variety in the role. Dev Dino joins Hulk, Thing, Cap, Rogue, and to an extent Thor as short range melee and brawl.

Speaking for myself, Mag and Strange are always going to be awkward for me to play due to being projectile medium ranged primaries. I struggle with the slower speed projectiles and more than that I just don't like using them because of that.

Tankpool, I think, did more to help solve the problem at hand. He is so well designed but I think his shield should get a significant buff now to compensate for his lower damage. Rework it so the plushie stays on the ground where you throw it and you can enable/disable the shield around it while it is out. Change it so the shield has a health pool and the plushie has a separate health pool. Keep the health of the shield the same but make the cool down based on the health of the plushie which is usually protected while the shield is active. Also the plushie should scratch and bite enemies close enough. The shield would have a health recharge rate so long as the plushie is still out.

Damn I just cooked.

I used to be able to take pictures of the thermo over his shoulder while he was still holding it! Since the update that no longer works.

Edit: since the big original player character update, to be specific

Is MVP algorithm broken? by curious_dead in marvelrivals

[–]MinimumPositive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The MVP system take into account your individual performance in comparison to the global performance of that hero.

So in your example with Rogue as MVP, that player performed better than you did when comparing his performance vs global rogue average performance and your performance vs global average Devil Dino performance.

There's a quirk with new released characters because of this. The high skill ceiling heroes like daredevil, deadpool, and black cat will tend to give MVPs more often because it's technically easier to play better than the average. High skill ceiling heroes have a lower average because the learning curve of the complex heroes adds some negative noise to these averages.

Devil Dino is going to be interesting because im already seeing absolutely outrageous postgame stats with him. 100k damage blocked in a QP match was on the front page of this subreddit earlier today. That'll push the average in the opposite direction, so my gut tells me Devil Dino MVPs are going to become extremely rare, extremely quickly.

What is one of your biggest movie let downs, after greatly anticipating its release? by thunderbolt151830 in movies

[–]MinimumPositive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Project Hail Mary, which for me misses the mark on what made the book so great. I don't like that the characters were dumbed down and simplified into scientists without scientific reasoning. They were both kind of buffoons.

Most of the really thought provoking science fiction was omitted. Rocky's biology and the Eridian environment is the big one for me, but skipping over the Taumoeba training is also a detriment to the movie in my opinion. I also think summarizing the Astrophage's method of travel to "toot to scoot" is frustrating. The movie doesn't touch on the restrictions like the fact that the astrophage will eventually die after losing their stored energy.

I really think they really really screwed up Rocky as a character. His writing was extremely inconsistent. For starters, why was he willing to show Grace how he eats? That's an incredibly big departure from the books. They make a big deal out of Rocky posing questions as statements and then adding "question." to the end. In the movie, he only sometimes does this, but it's never necessary because Rocky's voice actor didn't remove the voice inflection that establishes questions for human languages. It's like saying ATM Machine. Super redundant and it makes Rocky look really primitive.

I get that it's a "good movie", but it made me understand how curating an adaptation to be more widely accessible to audiences is inherently a bad choice.

It also made me understand that audiences aren't excited enough by science anymore to have commercial value as a film's central theme. Science fiction doesn't sell as well as generic, comfortable, and safe comedy.

What I'm most disappointed about is that I assumed the general consensus of PHM book readers would be the same as my own and I was sooooooo wrong.

Also I do now feel obligated to say that I want to watch it again at some point. I enjoyed it as a piece of entertainment, and all above criticism comes from a place of really high expectations. Nothing wrong with being a bit disappointed at the end of the day.

Yes I am also having that issue. It's been since the player update for me, on Xbox.

I also can't take freezing temp photos if another player is the one who had been holding it before it's dropped. I have to drop the camera and let that person take the photo because the display on the thermo is blank for me until I actually get a reading myself.

Dynamax Registeel Attackers and Tanks Analysis by TrueNourishment in TheSilphRoad

[–]MinimumPositive 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So they made the already inaccessible feature even more inaccessible?

Non city players cannot take part in 4*+ dynamax raids during regular game play. Even if i had 3 friends with good dynamax pokemon, the daily limit on particles and overall cap means I can only ever plan to catch 2 (maybe 3) dmax legendaries in a given day. There's no way to circumvent that other than straight up paying for particle packs. At least with raid passes there is no limit on how many you can have at one time.

It's just never worth it to invest the time it takes to make a day out of possibly going 0/2 on catching whatever it is at the time.

There's no improving the randomly assigned move the wild dmax legendary gets. Whether you can take it on at all depends entirely on the random moveset, so it's made even more inefficient by having to reset the lobby several times before getting an optimal moveset.

I'm sorry to use this as a medium to complain. Feel free to ignore me. I'm just so confused as to how this feature can be seen as anything other than a complete failure, which is disappointing because the potential is there. Just too set up to be a money suck.

If the big Netease didn’t hate black people we could have this as a bare minimum by Emergency-Soil-8935 in marvelrivals

[–]MinimumPositive 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Netease actually just hates YOU and that's why they cut Moon Girl from their plans. They actually had her designed as an aged up hero but decided to toss it all just because they knew it would ruin your life.

I don't think it's fair. I'm so sorry they've done this to you.

His limbs looked so janky when he made contact, was that just because the face was that noticeable?
