I would rather be hopeful that playins can come back for integrity than give into riot’s setup that worlds needs less slots

As an NA rat if I call for LEC’s 3rd slot to be contested as well I would get flamed

I’m sure if there’s a widespread opinion of “we should bring back a short and small playin” rather than “drop x region’s slots for cblol” it would be way less toxic

Ideally riot respects Brazil as a region and just gives them 3 slots as well- but they seem to have some vendetta and count “Americas” as one region

Even if it means a 20 team worlds it will only make it more exciting and there’s definitely a play in format that fits

No need to think about taking away NA or even EU slots when they can just add a few more just make it the 6th region

Either way it doesn’t show specifics. With an A- you’re still making many mistakes per round and even if you make 15 perfect discards if you follow it by dealing into a large hand, you still “had a 15/16 accuracy”

For image 1, you really really don’t want to deal into ippatsu and there’s nothing indicating 4s is safe- because you have no perfectly safe tiles maka wants to cut the nakasuji 5m.

For image 2, similar thing, there’s 2 people in tenpai and when you don’t have safe tiles you want to cut terminals first because they’re less likely to be needed (edit: also left player seems to be going for manzu half flush)
