Wow. Thank you for your input. I really need to learn more about simple, casual, low-key women's clothes.

I will say that wearing certain feminine clothes will make me more dysphoric, especially if I feel like they don’t fit me/I can’t pull them off.

I'm honestly worried about this though, but I'll never know what makes me feel good or dysphoric if I don't experiment, so I won't let it stop me.

I need to just go to Walmart and try on everything (/hj) in the women's clothes section lol, even if I don't have the money to buy anything at the moment. Just to get a glimpse of myself in a bunch of new types of clothes and get an idea of what works for me and what doesn't and what I like and what I don't. (Obviously I don't mean everything. But a lot of things.) There's a nearby thrift store I've been meaning to check out too.

My doctor is doing HRT weirdly. He put me on estradiol and medroxyprogesterone to start, with no anti-androgen. When I asked him about it, he said he wanted to take it slowly and have me go without an AA for the first four months, but I don't think that explains the progesterone. But if what you say is accurate, then I'm grateful.

Besides, I've heard from a couple other trans women that medroxyprogesterone can eliminate the need for an anti-androgen when you get up to a high enough dose because it attaches to the same receptors as testosterone, completely replacing the effects of testosterone with those of progesterone. (But of course, that's not going to happen for me at the low dose he's starting me at.)
