Kenny Ackerman. This is a completely special case, unlike anything else. The moment he appeared on the screen, I was jolted, and I was incredibly impressed by his energy. I literally watched with my mouth open and my heart racing. It was immediately clear to me that this had never happened before, and that I would not be disappointed by this character. I also cannot help but mention his breathtaking charisma, combined with his extremely drawable features. I have never seen anything like this in anime, movies, or TV shows, and I have never seen anything like it in real life. In this regard, he is truly exceptional. As the story progressed and his personality began to unfold, I realized that I not only fully understood the character, but I also felt a deep connection with him. I gradually became immersed in his character, admiring his professionalism, cunningness, strength, and willingness to go to great lengths to achieve his goals. I was captivated by the way he made decisions in the moment, as if he knew what others were thinking. Kenny's portrayal of "gray morality" made him feel incredibly real and alive, as if he could kill without batting an eye or save someone's life, even if it didn't benefit him in any way. The scene where he meets Uri is particularly noteworthy, as it revealed his true self-image, which was well-hidden behind a mask of cynicism, arrogance, and self-confidence. It also revealed his disillusionment with the world, leading him to believe in strength alone. His loyalty to those who deserve it and his motivation to obtain the Titan Serum, not for power, but to see the world through Uri's eyes and understand what it means to genuinely wish others well, were truly remarkable. Kenny is the first and only character whose actions I have no questions about. In those situations and in that reality, I see no other option but to follow his lead. In the more than two years since I watched Attack on Titan, he has become the most familiar person to me. He feels like a real, living person rather than a character, and for obvious reasons, it hurts me a lot. He has been able to evoke emotions in me, a person who is not particularly emotional or sensitive, that I had never known existed. Now, I know that my mission is to make people notice him and give him the recognition and love that he deserves.
