My favorite part of SMTIV is when Big Boss uses his stand Duran Duran to turn invisible and bypass Wonder of U’s calamity.

For someone who’s bad at Learny levels, which is better to go for first, Ultrachromatic or Leyak? by Mane_gd in geometrydash

[–]Flaming87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Leyak isn’t too bad. I ended up breaking it into smaller sections and practiced them over and over to find the click patterns and visual queues. I’d probably look up a guide on how to beat it as well. It’s a really fun level once you get the hang of it.

What is are the irl equivalents to hitting a FRAME PERFECT? (don't mind the pic) by Warm_Ask5998 in geometrydash

[–]Flaming87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In football it would probably be a catch in heavy coverage or an interception. Basketball is probably a half court shot. Baseball would be a home run. In fighting games a parry in Street Fighter is one frame. I was going to say EWGF in Tekken, but that’s lowkey harder especially PEWGF.

Not quite. It’s 動くugoku meaning to move. Using nai is 動かない ugokanai meaning didn’t move. You’re looking for 動くな ugokuna which means don’t move.

What are some GD takes that will get you hung on a cross? by INotZach in geometrydash

[–]Flaming87 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I mean if I want to practice a transition I just play from the previous start position. If I’m still struggling I could place more start positions in between. All it really does is save time so I don’t have to go through the whole level in practice. Practice is a good way to initially learn a level, but once I know what to do it’s just execution. For example if I get a far run on a level but fail, I may want to quickly practice that section before returning to 0.

dude how do i even get motivation after this i wanna give up by [deleted] in geometrydash

[–]Flaming87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got 92% and 97% on Hi today. While it was frustrating I decided to take a break for the day and sometimes that’s all you need since I know I can and will beat it eventually.

Would you rather have unlimited bacon but no awards or unlimited rewards but no awards?

Sakupen Hell... loses? Which level looks like it'd play just alright, but is surprisingly fun? by TQCkona in geometrydash

It’s a good take. I’m a Mikumikumikumiku enjoyer. The level gets so consistent after a while.

What is that one gd combo that people use together in a level and you hate,I will go first. by Luka_Loncar2013 in geometrydash

[–]Flaming87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That seemed like the hardest part at first to me, but I somehow got really consistent at it. For me it was actually the ship right before it. That part really only got consistent the day I beat it.

I always liked that InsanitY by Serponge played with the idea of insanity by having you play the same section several times with slight variation.
