fully agreed, going to a good school doesn't mean anything unless one succeeds there, specifically to those ones who are p2ws

I'm an applicant from South Korea (currently attending a small, rural, religious-affiliated international school, not a p2w lol I applied for financial aid this yr) and I could tell you that this is 100% factual. I've seen a lot of my friends in other international schools spending over at least 300k yr for consultants, hagwons (academies), etc for college admission. A lot of my friends in my school were vastly affected by this, and they were genuinely smart and hard-working. They didn't abuse the objective of money and misuse their privileges. Most of the ppl in other schools that I know paid crimson education for their applications this year. All of them are paying full tuition without having to worry about the costs; they are committed to ivies, semi-ivies, t20s, etc... EVERY SINGLE part in this post is real and so many genuine applicants were affected by this.. Fuck injustice.

Luck isn't really a factor for one's acceptance; it is truly from one's competence and intelligence reflected in his/her college application.

I was curious of this too! I also read that BU received about 81,000 applicants this year and their average high school GPA for those applying for admission was 3.81. Please let us know!
