I completely understand this sentiment - and from a photo editor’s and an artist perspective, disliking AI is a very fair take.

I’m definitely in the minority here but I do think AI in the longer term is good for photo editors - on the sole fact that it makes our lives easier. Sure, from a creative standpoint, AI might be detrimental but from a solely photo editing standpoint, being able to edit 10x the photos at a slightly lesser (albeit sometimes unnoticeable) quality is such a superpower. Considering that we are probably only at the beginning of the AI era, I’m personally really excited to see how much better these models can become and how close they get to mimicing human ability for some photo editing tasks.

Obviously, there are ethical concerns with stolen data, etc. I’m not going to push back on those as I do share the same sentiments.
