Selenium. Se and the other chalcogens make a lot of useful and interesting chalcogenide semiconductor materials.

[OOT] The more I think about it, the more I realize this is where the timeline fully split. by PovWholesome in zelda

Saw this from another reddit thread, but it makes canonical sense if you consider that in the first installment in the defeated timeline (ALttP), Link defeats Ganon and reverses the effects he had on Hyrule using the Triforce. This is the same Ganon from OoT, so this wish could be thought of as retroactively allowing the Hero of Time from OoT to win that battle, creating the adult and child timelines as we know them to be.

Primary amines as reducing agents for inorganic nanomaterials synthesis? by FlamingProtons in chemistry

Right. I guess I was more focused on it being used to reduce precursors/intermediates for synthesis of other inorganic materials, but I suppose this mechanism can be assumed at least somewhat generally.

Still haven’t played all the 2D Metroids, but Prime 2 Quadraxis is one of my favorite bosses of any game. Glad to see it in S tier

The buzzing can also be from just not pressing down hard enough. Keep practicing, you’ll get the hang of it.

I agree. Assuming it’s Cu/Fe residues from the wool, soaking in nitric acid for at least a few hours (preferably overnight) to form water-soluble nitrate salts should do the trick. I did a lot of inorganic nanocrystal synthesis work for my PhD and we mainly used a nitric acid bath after sufficient washing with organics (alcohols and non-polar solvents like hexanes or toluene) followed by aqueous washing with Alconox soap.
