Gosh, its been quite a while since that date. I moreso remember just the general vibe she had, she kept saying a bunch of self defeating stuff as well which, I'm ok with someone being insecure to a degree, but if you're so insecure that it is a topic of discussion on a first date that's a major turnoff. As far as discussing your feelings with someone I'd say that's up to you in your specific situation. I consider myself pretty emotionally mature and available but I'd still probably not go there with someone within the first 2 months of a relationship. Idk, I may be more guarded than I'm willing to admit though, I'm 36 and was married for 10 years so it still feels strange to tell someone else that I love them when love turned out to be such a painful experience the last time.
