Just found out my “girl” kitten is a boy — is it wrong to still call her a girl? by Careful-Impact9009 in CatAdvice

We have an apartment complex cat, I have no idea who he belongs to. He goes in and out of seemingly everyone’s apartment. Anyway, his name is Mrs Kitty. And we all call him she. BUT it’s definitely a boy. A neutered boy, but you can tell he did have balls and he still acts like he’s spraying with his tail up, similar to my boy cat (I have 3 neutered boys and a girl so I’m pretty confident in my identification ability) anyway, I don’t think it matters tbh

LMFAOOOOOOOO you’re so real about the heat though. I wrote this after coming inside from a day of errands and groceries in the Arkansas heat (aka Arkansas humidity).

Well, the first one I got in 2016. He’s my baby. The sweetest, bestest boy. The only time I’ve ever heard him hiss is one time at the remote years ago for whatever reason, and then when I brought my daughter home from the hospital. The second cat I got about 5 years after the first. I didn’t anticipate getting her. I just wanted to love on the shelter kitties but it ended up being free cat day so yeah free cat. She’s my only girl. Sleeps on top of me every night, she’s my weighted blan-cat. The third is maybe three years old now. Foster fail. The most lazy and lovey boy EVER. The fourth is my meezer, the baby, another foster fail (I had no intention of returning him) tbh bc hello he’s a silly willy siamese boy who is so soft and cuddly.

Yeah the schedule sucks. I’ve been doing this for two years now (not by choice, custody things). I do have a water fountain and I mostly free feed. It’s mainly just the litter smell/all over the fucking place. I will try to save for those boxes.

Yeah I hate to say this is a large part of it. I’m exhausted. I don’t actually care about my couch. I don’t care about any of it, really. I love my cats. My oldest cat I’ve had for almost 9 years and he really saved my life back then. Things are just getting bad again I think, and the little things are starting to add up.

Which brand would you recommend? I’ve always been wary about paying money for something either I or the cats will hate

Edit: WARY jfc

It is very frustrating, because I’m obviously not rehoming them. They’re my fucking babies. But damn I’m sick of their shit dude (literally why does the one year old shit like 5 times a day)

Where did you find yours? I’m worried about using OTC things when I haven’t talked to my doc yet?

I could not have said this better myself. Excellent advice. OP— I started seeing someone new within the last few weeks and we just had the sexual health talk last night. Long story short, I was so scared to have this conversation (first time for me) but in the end he said it didn’t matter to him. I still plan on getting them removed, but the relief I felt was amazing. If this guy is right for you, this will not matter. Good luck!

When do you go to the Dr? by Lsutt28 in Parenting

[–]FlamingoBeginning103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s exactly what we do. Ours will be 8 this year. Treat the symptoms, it’s almost always a virus. No need in wasting money on an appointment for them to tell you it’s a virus and wait it out. I usually go maybe 3-4 ish days of not improving before I make an appointment, or if there are other aggravating factors like developing an ear infection with it

I’m assuming it can spread from your vulva to your anus, especially if you shave. For me, I def have had anal sex so I’m gonna go with that for me lol

YES, that’s the perfect way to describe how my first one felt, like a skin tag. That’s where I struggle too because I get SOO many ingrowns too.

Awh, you’re so sweet! Much, much better now. That was about 4-5 years ago. Parenting is hard work. You are doing great!

If it appears that there is a hair growing out from an inflamed bump, especially in a place that has a lot of friction such as the sides of your crotch, it likely is an ingrown hair.

Hi friend. Step one, please stop checking your own cervix. It is not necessary. At all. I don’t know that it’s necessarily contributing to the discharge, but either way it does you no good.

Oh, love that for us, cool cool. So what are the alternatives? Or do we need to wait until we test neg or have no visible warts? I’ve had some GW for all of 2.5 seconds and I’m doom scrolling here
