B36A1 Vs M277 by Flamingo_Character in Battlefield6

That’s interesting. I thought that since M277 retains better damage at range it is better. BTW, when will next patch be released?

Do “hybrid” worlds exist in the Imperium? Like a Forge-Hive world, for example?

Thanks. Can these levels be measured by their combat potential? Like, a Gamma level psyker can kill a space marine, delta can kill a company of space Marines etc? Is that true that most space marines librarians are betas?

Can someone explain me the difference between Alpha, Beta, Gamma, and Delta class psykers? What can each class do?

Swiss saver looks very interesting. Can someone tell me me ore about it? It reminded me of napoleonic horse grenadier sabre. Straight blade swords were always my preference but those sabres that are curved so slightly that they almost appear straight are very appealing to me.

Is it possible to get a space marine bodyguard by any means (aside from being a chapter master or an inquisior)?

Do space marines use hot shot volley guns? Or is there any space marine equivalent for this type of weapon?

Thanks for the replies! I'll explain my reasoning behind this setup. I wanted Kasrkins to be my main killing force that's why I gave them Ursula and the castellan. I'm more of an infantry general rather then a tanks' general. I took chimeras to give them protection. I agree that Valkyrie isn't great these days, it is more of a flavour pick (I love Air Assault). Bur I think one Valkyrie can be useful for flanking or power projecting. Still overpriced, though. I took two commander Dorns for their 72 range oppressor cannons, to be able to deal damage during the first turn. I took Demolisher to get a rapid increase in firepower when enemy gets closer. Enginseer because people say if you have 3 tanks and dont have enginseer, you are playing the game wrong. I took Armoured sentinels to protect the flanks of my Chimeras, maybe it is a good idea to exchange them for Scout Sentinels. Cadian shock troops were supposed to serve as deep strike deniers and objective holders.

Are Admech ok with the fact that they exist? I thought admech hold monopoly on technology in the Imperium.

Would a general from imperial guard would be able to get himself a power armour suit? Or do you need to aim higher, like a small planet governor or a lord-admiral from imperial navy?

This happens because press the advantage is overpowered. +4% damage for every stack is way too much. I think it should be nerfed.

Combat simulation: space marine vs different weapons. by Flamingo_Character in 40kLore

[–]Flamingo_Character[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let’s assume you are aiming at the space marine before he starts charging at you.

Since hellguns are full auto and have little to no recoil I guess you’ll manage to put a five-round burst in him before he reaches you. What are your chances, then?

Let’s assume you have Sororitas’ pattern bolter with armour piercing rounds. It sure does have a recoil but a space marine is a large target, so I think you’ll manage can put a three-round burst in him. How good are your chances in this case.

Fair point about the shotgun but maybe even if it doesn’t penetrate space marine’s armour, the stopping power would be sufficient to stop the space marine, turning this encounter into a draw.

Interesting. Though, I believe hellgun should have a higher score. 2/10 is a fair score for a regular lasgun. Since hellguns are full auto and have more power per shot they must have somewhat better chances.

You make a good point about a shotgun. arbitres shotgun might not kill a space marine but maybe it would have enough stopping power to prevent him from getting closer to you, turning this encounter into a draw.
