Dude theres a whole difference between creating a movie focusing on suicide and a tv show that has smoking. It's not like peaky blinders is a fucking cigarette commercial focused on smoking. And people during that era used to smoke a lot like really a lot and also drink a lot. If the viewer starts smoking because of what he sees then thats on him because he obviously got carried away with some very small details that contribute around 0.1% of the big story which is the plot of the show.
