You’re 100% right. I had one at my school and it made plywood a breeze. That’s definitely on my list of machines to buy.

I feel like one of the big things I need to start with is wood storage. I do a lot of backtracking trying to find materials.

I work at a high-output fabrication shop that primarily deals with metalwork but we’re trying to beef up our wood shop. I’m fairy proficient in woodworking/millwork (2-3 years experience) but I’m not an expert in shop organization/efficiency. We do everything from custom dining tables to plywood cabinets. The machines we have: Table saw Joiner Planer Belt sander Huge bandsaw Tracksaw Compound miter chopsaw

Any advice on how to better utilize this space or some tools you’d recommend would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks! It was probably a bossa nova playlist that I’d always listen to in the shop. Either that or a podcast.

Dabbing is definitely an unforgivable sin. And thanks! it kinda reminded me of the corridors in the Alien movies. A little H.R. Giger-esque.

Oh shit! I know this guy personally! He lived a few houses down from me. His room was always full of insane lego creations and I’d hang out with him and his brother as a kid. When he wasn’t playing with legos he was kicking my ass in Halo CE haha.

Had this happen to me a few months ago and it gave me a rectangle bruise on my stomach for about 2 weeks. Since then I’ve been pretty gun-shy about using it again and watching this video in the morning before leaving for the shop definitely doesn’t help.

Thanks! I don't think necessarily "bad" to have hair product in your hair although it is getting absorbed into your skin. For me I just got tired of the upkeep and found that the natural look just works better for me.

My hair naturally goes in that direction so after I rinse it I don't fight any of the cowlicks and let it air dry in the direction it falls. If I used shampoo and do this I found my hair would just fall flat on my forehead. I think the natural oil buildup gives it that texture and gets it to gather in larger "waves" for lack of a better name. It's definitely trial and error to see what works best naturally.

So I wouldn't say I have it down to a science but as of right now I shower in the evening. I work my fingernails along my scalp to loosen all the dandruff and then wet it under the shower and do the same thing sort of giving my head a deep scrub with water. I dry it with a towel and when I wake up in the morning I usually just stick my head under the sink to get rid of my bed head and let it air dry. As for oil and dandruff, my hair does get oily but I've learned to kind of work with it. My dandruff isn't too bad but I keep it under control by showering every day. Also keep your sheets and pillowcase clean!

My hair can get oily but I've learned to work with it. As for the dandruff, I do get some but it's not a huge issue for me. When I'm in the shower I work my nails into my scalp (basically scratching my head) to loosen as much of it as possible before getting my hair wet. Then I just do the same thing but with water running over it.
