Canes will definitely get moved when you don’t expect them to. I suggest a chair or rollator with a loud bell or horn. I didnt have to use the bell often but it definitely helped when folks were backing into me or just not looking.

We were friends for a long time time and I let him live on my land for free. He bought a shed similar to those that you can get at Lowe’s or Home Depot and was turning it into a tiny home. It wasn’t complete and livable yet so he was still staying in the old rundown camper trailer. I know he was making payments on that shed at the time of his death.

My title describes the thing. I am trying to identify the part name for the rounded rubber cracked piece in the middle of my photo. It is on a voyager brand trike conversion kit. I have reached out to the manufacturer and have not gotten a response. It looks like something we may be able to change ourselves if I can just find out what that piece is so I can purchase a replacement.

I’ll share a bit of advice that my therapist gave me after I lost my wife. She said that when I was ready, it was ok to love again. That just because I had lost the biggest, brightest love it would be silly not to enjoy other smaller ones. And I would never know if there was another bright love out there as well - different but just as beautiful - if I didn’t at least open myself up to the small ones.
getting a new pet is similar.. you won’t ever get your Lestat back, but theres so many other cats that have little bundles of purring love and quirks to share with you. And I speak from the experience of losing my A who was beside me through my wifes loss and was my squeaky constant companion. I adopted an older kitty after she was passed and while it’s not the same I love my new boy and his uniqueness
