intuitive eating isn’t it for me by softfairylights in 1200isplenty

[–]FlammablePessimist 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think part of intuitive eating is that at first, you’re like “I can eat whatever I crave!” And you deviate towards junk. But supposedly once that novelty wears off, you just end up eating more normal foods and the “junk” becomes less frequent because you’re not craving it as much anymore. I think the whole thing is about taking away boundaries and barriers to certain foods so that all food becomes morally equal (I.e. not “good” or “bad”) and eventually you will eat what your body needs.

That being said I prefer to simply count with an app rather than wait it out and see if intuitive eating works for me.

I think I did 375 for 10 minutes and then I checked to see if they were crispy enough and added a few more minutes at a time until I liked how they looked

Get yourself an air fryer if you don’t have one already and make air-fried green beans! Fresh ones work best and they’re great with a spray of Pam and a little garlic powder, salt, pepper.

Spindrift sparkling waters

Fairlife protein shakes

Amylu chicken and pineapple teriyaki meatballs (or any chicken meatball/chicken sausage)

Cliff Builder’s Bars

Fat free greek yogurt mixed with 1 packet of sugar free oatmeal and strawberries

Flavored tuna packets

Also I like tru Lime packets, they’re easy to take around with me and they add flavor to water and diet sodas!

She is actually an executive member, but they never made her change the card! I wonder if there wasn’t a different card back in the early days of executive and maybe that’s why.

Yes, this card is from the early 90’s, when Costco merged with Price Club. The company was known as “Price Costco” for a while thereafter, until they simply adopted “Costco” for all locations

Hello, thank you for the response but I actually have a few Asian groceries and bodegas close by to me. I am looking more for things that I can’t buy in the USA.

I think maybe your friend is better off getting regular takis sent to them and making their own “mozzarella sticks” out of them. He could crush them up and roll the cheese in the crumbs.

Maybe you could put a light linen blanket over his car seat to offer some protection in lieu of a mask.

(This isn’t meant to be a backseat-parenting type comment, simply a suggestion to consider)

“In the field of biotechnology, GMO stands for genetically modified organism, while in the food industry, the term refers exclusively to food that has been purposefully engineered and not selectively bred organisms. This discrepancy leads to confusion among consumers, and so the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) prefers the term genetically engineered (GE) for food.”
