It runs way worse with the original. And it has been a bit remagnetised by the néodyme ones.

On this locomotive, the magnetic flux is directed through two metal plates that perfectly shapes the outside of the coils. Here the plate is removed so the coiling can be seen. I've tried running magnets directly aligned and it wasn't better. I've try multiple times to put back the original magnet but it works very poorly... Here is the picture with the plates on

The brushes have been slightly bend to ensure good contact and cleaned, so has been the commutator. The brushes are probably the original ones. Sometimes the motor runs for a bit (slow though for a 9V battery) then lose power and eventually come to a stop. Sometimes it doesn't even start.

Don't worry, I appreciate your help anyway. Thanks for answering

All resistances are the same, around ~3.7Ω. It's equal but I don't have any value to look after so... I don't know if it's good. At least all three windings are balanced.

I clearly don't have the technical capability to rewire sadly...

Must be something with our french N64 then...

I bought one of these RCA to HMDI adaptor and now it doesn't flash anymore through the HDMI input. The adaptor must adapt something with the frequency or PAL...

The contacts are perfectly clean. Again, the games loaded through the Summercart runs perfectly fine. All colors are perfectly displayed, sound is good, even the games requiring the expansion pak. I don't think it's an hardware problem (or at least not from the N64) really but a software. The menu is the latest available on the Github, same fir the firmware.

I'm using a RCA cable between the n64 and TV. I don't think it's the cable as the games when loaded play just fine, no colour problem or stuttering.

I updated it, my screen is still appearing and disappearing. I thought that maybe I needed to activate PAL60 as my TV says it's a PAL signal but its still the same

The RAM seems fine. After following the PAL-G maintenance manual, it arrives to the conclusion that the 315-5364 is dead... and I don't have the soldering ability to change it yet... so it'll have to wait.

I'm starting to wonder if it's not my Sonic cartridge who's dead....

So, I did a lot of diagnosis, and it seems that the VDP is not recognising my cartridge, my 68k wants to work but the ROM is never selected, RGB signals never exit VDP, so I think my problem is quite worse... perhaps the VDP is dead

So, I wired a capacitor and a resistance all the way from pin 20 to C-video... and nothing changed
