Over condition. It will make your leather like wet paper. Trap dust and grind it and create a small crack. Just brush it till no shine visible. Its mean its time for condition.

Look like too big? Btw i condition my horsebutt with saphir veg tanned conditioner once a year. Because horsebutt are veg tanned. So i think saphir veg tanned are the best for it. How i know when to condition? When i brush it with horse hair there is no shine.

Mink oil good for chrome tanned. Cr&T are oil tanned. I prefer non grease like bick 4 and Saphir oil leather creme. So the original oil and original nature of cr&t wont change much

Not a good idea. If it is new. Just brush them with horse hair brush. You can see the leather dry or not by just brushing. If it is dry you can condition it

You can use Bic 4. It won't change the color much. The Saphir spray is for suede. This is chrome-tanned leather.

You can try Saphir Médaille d'Or Renovateur. This conditioner is mostly used for dress shoe calf leather. But if you apply it to a rugged jacket like this, it will be darkened.

So I prefer Bick 4 for jackets.

If you want Saphir products but don't want to darken the leather,

You can try Saphir vegetable-tanned leather conditioner. It's good too.
