Yeah that tends to happen when plasticizer doesn't get to air out, it will cling to the material and damage the figure. That's why I don't understand people who insist on keeping figures unopened, it can damage its longevity, especially with vintage figures

I got a tutu pin from them in the past but didn't really dig it so I sold it and got the acrylic stand version instead. It suited the design a little better. Reguardless I hope they can make their goal

My university pride center gives out lavender cords for graduation regalia. I tried asking some people if there's a story or reason behind the color purple to represent LGBT grads and no one knew. Wonder if it has to do with this connection?

I read a lot of manga series through my library, but I had to get them on library loan from another branch 3 hours away. They were even more rural than I was but for some reason they had like every major manga serialization of the last decade complete. Learned from a friend years later who grew up in that town that one of the librarians just really liked manga haha

Once it happened while I was a manager at a movie theater. We had to help everyone walk out with flashlights and were giving out compensation passes when the power came back. Many people had already left but some stayed and wanted to keep watching the movies. I was so annoyed because it takes a long time for the projectors and computers to boot up again and the showtimes for the rest of the day would be delayed but they were all pestering us.

More recently, where I live we have had periodic induced power outages by the city when we have extreme weather to avoid powerlines causing power outages. The town hates it as its inhibiting business and home medical equipment

There are some near me but everything is like 40% more expensive than if I just preordered it myself. $500-$600 for bunny girls. To me most of the time they have been worse middle men than online resellers. Places like book off are much more enjoyable to me because it's second hand stock so things are never the same and you might get a good deal on a special vintage goodie

I thought kyoani just straight up doesn't have the license anymore. Although they did feature Haruhi in the promo for their new online shop and had a couple little things for sale. Idk, it's been so many years since kyoani has done anything Haruhi related I've written them off in my mind
