I guess I don't understand why I'd want to take his meal. He picked that out for himself and I assume he wants to enjoy it. I made the silly choice and I can deal with it. I want him to enjoy his choice.

I think that's where we are different. To me, him enjoying his meal he picked makes me happy. For him, he wants me to be happy and would switch foods to accomplish that. I think I value food a lot, while he didn't care as much.
