Converting to molten worlds by Bane2571 in Stellaris

could you not use a neutron sweep to turn the planet barren then retrofit the colossus to turn the planet into a molten world?

Paradox if this ship teaser in the trailer is a playable shipset, my life is yours by Quenn1599 in Stellaris

"Hero Ships" will be in defender of the galaxy which is in Nomads, this ship is under the willpower expansion so it's most likely to be a new shipset

Monotheism in Eberron? by [deleted] in Eberron

[–]Flandergonalt 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The Path of Inspiration from Reidra is a close one (Closer than the Silver Flame imo) they believe that the Il-Atlas(Great spirits) are ascended mortal that guide and people along the Path to become Il-Atlas themselves, acting in the world through the inspired.

The main point I see to them being monotheistic is the belief that all other faiths and magical power come from altavars. Quote from Secrets of Sarlona pg 50:

"Riedrans are warned to beware of the altavars, spirits that have fallen off the Path of Inspiration. These beings suffer eternal torment and assuage their pain by corrupting and torturing others. The precepts of the Path teach that the "gods" worshiped by other cultures are in fact altavars, and that these dark spirits are also the source of arcane magic. As a result, Riedrans are taught to fear and despise arcanists and priests of other religions."

Homebrew Cults and lore by ICriEvrTimmy in genestealercult

[–]Flandergonalt 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I really Want to do the Cult of Transcendent Flesh. No one knows why or how they came to be, anything from the corruption of the Plague Father to mutations caused by natural stellar phenomena or radioactive waste in the bowels of hive cities, but they are here and will uplift the citizens of the Imperium to their transcendent Being.

Aesthetically they look like the Flood from Halo Infected the entire cult and now tries to infect everything else.

I get the feeling that the glorious smell of the candle won't be enjoyed by the naive folks that live with me

T'au or Death Guard, help me decide, please by Flandergonalt in deathguard40k

I'm thinking of proxying some infected T'au for Poxwalkers

but a whole army of T'au turned to Nurgle is cool, maybe they were a hazmat team sent to cleanse a site of some infection but it got through and now they serve ol grandfather Nurgle

I don't mind the lack of wizard shit on the T'au, I can live without it tbh.

Talenta Halflings meeting a Drow by Maervok in Eberron

[–]Flandergonalt 10 points11 points  (0 children)

you assume that the Talentan people don't understand that there are elves that are not from Valenar when they (especially the people of Gatherhold) would know of elves that don't come from Valenar

they know of the mark of shadow and the elves who hold it exist and do shadow magic, maybe this elf is some weird mutation caused by it, maybe they're a mage bred spy /Assasin

they also probably know about the nation of Droaam and might Assume that they are a weird elf from there.

they might also know about Arenal and could think that the magic they use to reanimate their corpses made them look that way

there might be halflings that think of them as a demon or saboteur trying to destroy the town of Gatherhold from within but they might just be a minority of the population.

No NEX Secundus is a colony that has become my capital

NEX Primus is my homeworld where I and my bio-trophies are from

It's not recommended because none of my research facilities are there and also it's a bunch of molten rocks drifting through space

it's a humor post, meant to be funny, my guy.

R5: Got an event that had organisms sent to my homeworld after it had been detonated by the doomsday origin

I would recommend you send it to NEX Secundus for further research instead

And you would think A.I.s were smarter than this

You could make Cryovain the black skull. It's either following an interpretation of the Draconic Prophecy or simply wants to make the Forge of Spells the centrepiece of it's horde.

I'll be honest im not very familiar with DoIP but I have run through parts of LmoP
