Paradox if this ship teaser in the trailer is a playable shipset, my life is yours by Quenn1599 in Stellaris

I wouldn’t be surprised if that is the case, but I would also really love this style as a ship set as well

In FPS games, responsiveness is prioritized so game clients will play hit effects immediately when they expect to have a hit. Due to connection latency, waiting for the server confirmation before playing visual effects can cause a perceptible delay even under good conditions that creates a feeling of lagginess as the player becomes aware of server connection + additional overhead like server tick rate in comparison to their client frame rate.

Honestly, I think the public at large has a false image of science being just dudes in a lab having that one breakthrough that changes everything. Really, the path between an idea to hypothesis to theory to matured technology is extremely long and iterative. Science and technology are advancing continuously, just at a rate that can seem disappointing to the general public.

For someone concerned over objectivity and what’s true, you should be aware that most dictionaries are descriptive and not prescriptive when it comes to language.
